How to avoid shooting milky does?

Recommended Posts

It's not for my taste that's for sure, and thankfully I only shoot for the pot, so I don't shoot for pest control. I know many shooters don't like shooting does laiden with young, John Darling didn't, but are there any ways to avoid it? Are there any tell-tale signs of what to look for? John Darling once said he only shot the grazers, whatever that meant.

Cheers,
