Tiny 7 1,694
I use Beta Greyhound, I find it good stuff and a very reasonable price (Plus i think you can tell with dry food cause if you anit picking up tons of shit its seems alright, I tryed that wagg stuff form Morrisons a good few months back and i tell ya what how much i was putting down to the dog thats how much was coming out the other end... And then raw food add, not together something like 1 day meat the next dry it works for me anyway, Has anybody tryed that dryed meat that you get form Collins pet food place, Its 50% protein got good leves of fat and that it about £13/15 for a 15kg sack looks very good stuff? poacher3161 1,766
The dried meat is IMHO a better option than some of the cheap brands of complete. The biscuite that i mix with it after trying out all the leading brands.I have found tescos sell a mixer at £1.70 for 4 kilos [bANNED TEXT] you compare it to peddigre chum mixer at £11 for 9 kilos its a big saving.atb dell
J Darcy 5,871
Hi guys........Well, what a contentious issue...Over the past years i have tried many different types of dry mixes and even flirted with additional vitamins. Looking back on it all i honestly do not beleive it really matters what youa feed a dog as long as it gets a balanced diet and plenty of exercise. For the past few years i have just used a standard chicken and rice biscuit, which the dogs have unlimited access to. By that i mean there is a open bag for them to eat as much as they want , when they want. You would be surprised at how little they do actually eat! Aside from the biscuit they recieve lots of flesh mainly in the form of lamb and the ubiquitous raw rabbit! All the best conditioned dogs i have seen have had a diet of predominantly raw meat, and i guess this is a good formula to start with as a base. R.e Joe Lynas, if you wish to get your dogs stomach more stable i would recommend a diet of lamb ribs for a week or two. I think you will find the results remarkable..... Happy Hunting.........JD
