Mk3 deben collar + Mk1 Box

As the title really, the mk1 collar is knackered and I've heard a mk3 collar will work with the mk1 receiver. Has anyone had experience with this set up??

YEAH NOT WORTH THE HASSLE GET YOURSEF A NEW BOX AND COLLAR,, B&F OR ORTOVOX.

A Mk 3 collar will work with the Mk 1 box but the depth will be different to what it says on the dial.

If you can afford it go for a new Mk 3 set up, I've had no problems with mine after getting used to it.

i agree with heapher ,but the collar doe,s work up to about ten foot , i no a couple of lads who tape the mk1 or 2 receiver bit to the b+f collar so u can pin point easier a bottom of dig ,helps on those steep bankings to ,plus if something goe,s faulty with one you got a back up

a good idea that dog fox because the baf does chuck you off a bit on the banks and and deep digs .
