One of my mates that goes decoying pigeons with me helps out on a farm that we shoot all the land, he was working one of the fields that we have not shot as the owner as lots of land we have not touched yet. He was going through the field with the Tractor and as soon as he pushed the pigeons off the field they dropped in straight behind the Tractor, and there were hundreds on the field. he rang me to tell me on Saturday night and we haven't been able to get at em because the weathers so crap, can't Waite for the weather to break hopefully by Friday then might get a chance to get at em keeping

First outing of the year pigeon shooting over crops (cut rape) and what an outing it turned out to be...on the way down to the field i bagged myself a rabbit which was just sat out in the early morning sun, after making it to the field i got set up using just a hide, 6 FUD decoys, 9 half body and a pigeon magnet. because it was my first one of the year i didnt know how they would decoy in so i decided to set up the magnet just to left side off the hide due to wind direction and then set up two horse shoe patterns one with the FUD to one side of the magnet and then another of half bodies to th

after rain stopped this aftie i decided to have acouple of hours with my young un, we didnt set up till around 2 and packed in at 6, the pigeons was hard to decoy with the field been a decent size and still that much for them to go at and to be honest pigeon shooting isnt my strongest point, we had a good few come to our pattern but mostly ferrels with some dropping out of sky like racers getting clocked in, we managed to pick up 23 ferrel and 10 woodys with around 5/6 hitting the field at back of us thats still up that we didnt find so not too bad of a afternoon, its the first time ive let my
