Had the worst day of my life so far... yesterday. I lost my first and only dog I have ever owned, she taught me so much in the 19 months that I had her and is sorely missed. I always read people posts on here about there losses and I never comment them, partly because I always thought it was a strange thing to do and partly I have never experienced anything like it. My god, I don't know what to do with myself!!! I take my dog everywhere I go, be it work, road trips, the school run for the 3 kids, everywhere. hi i was Bord today so u chose to put some pics of my dogs for this season and next season. i have probably put some of the pics up be fore on different topics but aw well i have a little whippet x we dunno what is exact in her but she is small for the rabbits. Hi, Can anybody help.I am fostering this little lad,we know he has whippet,but to me ,he has slightly bull features and a stocky build.He is approx 6 months and about 21 to the shoulder.I have 5 lurchers,but not familiar with bull crosses.He is so bright,a pleasure to have ,just wanted an opinion. hi just wanted to say i got my new lurcher pup he 14 weeks and he is all ready 20 inches to the sholder his mum is a pure raceing greyhound and has won 26 races and his dad is a deer x grey x wheaton. hes 14 weeks the now but i coulded of had him when he was 10 weeks because they guy i got him off of he went on holiday for two weeks so. he has only had one jag the now but on the 12th he gets his second so al need to wait for about 2 weeks in till i can take him out for walks and the guy said tht hid dad was a grate dog on foxes pre ban but i heres a few pics of him vhis knucles are realy big a

good news got off the phne from my dads cuzzin who asked someone up his end if he he new any body selling all round lurcher pups and he said yes he has al ready bout it for me only £ i think he said it is a wheaten grey x deer grey or something dwn tht lines if an body has had or got one like tht are they good dogs lamping ferreting ect am should be getting it on sat. my cuzzen got it from one of his pall who is a proper lurcher man saposaly my cuzzen keepers in wishaw near glasgow i will put a pic up of it when i get

hello , I'm new here on this forum ,I live across the northsea and I own a' galgo' i.e. a spanish greyhound . She is a good dog doing the things she is bred for . She is 6,5 years old and I'm thinking of breeding her with a deerhound .But the trick is to find a deerhound sire , all the deerhound people around don't want their dog being mixed with an other breed. Would anyone know someone in belgium,holland or germany with a deerhound male for stud?

ALRIGHT TROOPS TOOK MY 13YR OLD OUT SATURDAY NIGHT WAE MY BIG DOG. WEE DONE 9/10 PARKS NA DA. MY BOY SAID GEE ME THE LAMP DA SO I GAVE HIM THE BK PK AND LAMP AND SAID CARRY ON . NOW FOR THE 1ST TIME I WAS A SPECTATOR. I WATCHED HIM CLIMB UP BANKING S TO GET THE HIGH GROUND AND LAMP SLOWLY WATCHING THE GROUND FROM THE HEDGE OUT TO YHE MIDDLE AND 180 TO THE HEDGE. I NEVER SAID NOTHING TO HIM. SUDDENLY HE PISSED THE BIG DOG AND SAID THERE ITS THERE BIG DOG AND HIM CLICKED DOG WENT OVER THE FENCE AND SO DID HE THE WEE MAN RAN 80YRDS LAMP STILL ON HIS QUARRY I STOOD THERE USELESS WONDERING

Two lurchers are among the stolen dogs tan, smooth coated lurcher dog, very big and strong, cuts on nose. other is a broken coated blue lurcher bitch wheaten greyhound cross. Hi, We have had no leads on dogs stolen. No sign of them. It was our name , address and telephone number that was put up on gumtree by someone else. They did it 4 times, we got the ads taken down as soon as we saw them and eventually had to get the telephone number barred from gumtree to stop them going up. We also think that both are linked. Hi i am possibly moving back to my birth place of halifax west yorkshire jus wondering if there is any like minded hunters around there willing to possibly meet up. I have a collie whippet greyhound x deerhound greyhound 10 months old and a JRT pup only 13 weeks i love to go lamping/coursing/foxing basiclly anything to do with the dogs, i am visiting for 1 week on 10/9 - 17/9 but not able to bring the dogs atm Thanks for reading and let me know here if anyone wanna meet up am hoping to move before xmas

i have a dvd made, Lurchers and Countrysports Ireland, 120mins, it has chapter 1. bushing with terriers lurchers and whippets 20mins, 2. ferreting 18 mins, 3. lamping 18mins, 4.pest control with hawks, 10 mins. 5. greyhound raceing and training 14 mins., its due for release at the end of october and i was looking for advice about the best places to advertise it

it really takes the piss when your dog is a "family dog" but its your dog when it does something wrong and our dog and its good it really does piss me off.

I have a bull x whippet about 4 weeks in pup, she works and puts everything in to her running. As this is her first litter I'm a bit unsure as to when she'll be ready to work again once the pups have arrived. I don't want to risk any injuries, I was thinking maybe once the pups are ready to leave, but is that too soon? Any help on this would be great, cheers.

My Saluki/grey x whippet thorn colour 23" went missing from are home in dalton near thirsk, north yorkshire on tuesday the 12th (4 days ago) we think she has been taken as we have extensively searched the field around us. she is not a working dog she is my girlfiend much loved pet, one that has to sleep in are bed on a night she has been with her thro the last since month as she has been seriously ill. any help possible to bring her home will be much apriciated she is micro chipped thank you very much she is the light one on my profile pic

Our lurcher bitch is due 23rd August.. was just wondering if anyone advice or whelping stories for me? I can't get enough information about it and seem to be spending my evenings either reading about whelps or watching youtube videos. My partner has bred bitches before but its a first time for me. She's been a brilliant text book pregnancy so am hoping for the same for the birth, fingers and paws crossed
