Alright lads. just had my roof mounted lamp and two spotlights nicked off the truck. Murton county durham, anyone with info or offered the same wouldnt mind knowing about it Cheers lads.

As a someone with no idea where to start or any family friends interested in working their dogs where do I start? Will my pair of 6 month old whippets with a bit of greyhound be able to go out lamping sporadically and still be family pets for country walks most of the time? Can I just have a pair of pets and just get them out when time allows or should I be regularly working them to get the best out of them? Any other advice on how I can get started or even what I should be reading to get me going? Thanks.

What’s you lads opinion on the best all rounder? A dog you’d expect to take all pre ban quarry. Put meat in the freezer and give the local fox population some problems. The best dog I’ve personally seen is my mates bitch, she’s saluki greyhound x deerhound greyhound, I’ve seen her take everything. Basically if you could only have one dog at your side, what would it be? Cheers lads

I have a 10 month old lurcher she had a displaced fracture on her rear leg from falling into a rabbit hole while running the vet put wire round her bone it’s now been 6 weeks since that and you can even tell she broke it just wondering if anyone has ever run there dog after and will she be able to come out lamping with me in the future any help appreciated

So our lovely Prime Minister has just announced that there will be no vote on repealing the ban during this parliament. It's something a lot of folks in this community looked towards with anticipation but now it's light has been snuffed out.

Hi all As I have recently acquired a very nice 14 month old lurcher, he came from good stock both parents good strong workers, however I'm just uncertain on his recall if and when I let him slip on the lamp, he's been with us just under 3 weeks now being taken on long walks over some good ground, he instantly kicks in ears pricked and eyes scanning anything and everything, how long will take for him to become obedient to us, we've had him on enclosed rugby field he never took off he just stayed within a couple metres of us head down trying to pick up a scent, obviously the test will be wh

10 month catching some rabbits while lamping but will not retrieve them.kills them and lies down with them tried leaving him walking away ignores recall whistle and voice. Reterives dummies like a lab right to hand,may be i him started to young?dont know any ideas? ROB. -

Hi all, For a while now i have pondered on the idea of what cross would suit me best as an all rounder, something that would be strong, have plenty of guts, prey drive, stamina, ability to turn and with lungs to lamp all night and do it well. I have asked peoples opinions in the past on this subject and found that alot of people had the same idea on here or had seen this breeding in action and couldn't fault it. thats my pup at 4 months old please have a look at the dam and sire there on here on my south west ablum the dad is blue he stood next to anougher dog he is the blue the mums picture is next to the one he is in she is on her own she black white chest dad. is bull grey mum is collie grey dad 30tts mum 25.5 tts. let me know what you think my pup will reach in hight and if you lurcher people think she will be heavy or not cheers all that coments -
Bought a new Lightforce Striker And Lithium 22ah

Splashed out today went out and upgraded my lamping setuo from a Clulite CB2 to a Lightforce Striker and Lithium 22ah Battery and im well chuffed with myself! Think of putting a 75watt or 50watt bulb in instead of the 100watt to get even longer out of a charge what do you lads think? -

Iv just started to do a bit of running on a night so far only 2 miles all roadwork and iv been taking dogs with me and I was wondering if when I start to go further if this would have a bad effect on my dogs paws/joints/tendons etc. or would it possibly help strengthen them? Before the dogs never really went on roads at all their execrise was running around the smallholding, following me on the horse, walks through local fields chasing a ball and lamping and this gets them fit enough for what I want
