Cheshire Drag Hunt are holding a show this Sunday 26th July, At Walmsley Farm, Green Lane, Leigh, Lancashire, WN7 2TP, Starts 11am. Classes for Lurchers, Terriers, And Gundogs, Plus a childrens novelty classes.Also Ferret Show and Ferret Racing, there is also have a go airgun shooting, a chance to meet the hound pups, i also believe theres a digging competion,whippet and lurcher and terrier racing, plus many more attractions, entrance to the show is £2, and a £1, to show. To be held at Longmoor Ln Showground , Breaston, Derby DE723BB. With simulated coursing and straight racing, booking in from 8.30 to start at 9.00 prompt. Qualifiers for CW, NL&RC, NWTF, EDRD and more, perpetual trophy for Working Lurcher in memory of Mr Mick Baker, £50 prize money for best Bull X split into two classes that will go head to head for best Bull X. The Gundog and Game fair at Betley Cheshire CW3 9BH on the 11/12th of July hosts the Open Plummer terrier show for the second year running and again sponsored by the PTCGB. Overnight camping is available at the venue. There are a host of events at this show and lurcher and terrier racing will be near the Plummer ring again. Trophies for best puppy in breed and best of breed winners. Great raffle prizes and the marquee will have the Plummer boards again with photos of both well known and lesser known dogs in the breed and we hope to have some doggy items on sale too.- 1 reply

We it that time again, off to the Kent Show this weekend. I'm going all three days The weather looks good and the Red Arrows are there on the Friday. BBC Countryfile are there Friday, I hope to meet Ellie Harrison and would love a chat with John Craven with regard to Badger / Fox shooting and the repealing of hunting with Dogs http://kentshowground.co.uk/
