Every Sunday morning, a group of us race the dogs for a few hours with the lure for fun (WITH MUZZLES). If we were to start doing it regular like a little club, any one welcome, would anyone be interested? If we can get good numbers then we can set time's and location. We have about 7 whippets so far, few lurchers and only one terrier so the more the better!! Please let me know if you're interested and we can sort something out. In 2013 we organised 1.A hugely successful Master McGrath Challenge at the Irish Game Fair at Shanes Castle 2. A brilliant FIVE NATIONS LURCHER CHAMPIONSHIP at the Irish Game & Country Fair at Birr Castle where Fiona Devlin's Maverick defended his title and qualifies again for 2014. 3. A fantastic FIVE NATIONS TERRIER CHAMPIONSHIP at the Irish Game & Country Fair at Birr Castle where Dodge a top English terrier won against very strong opposition. AND of course we ran the 26th annual ALL IRELAND TERRIER & LURCHER CHAMPIONSHIPS to award the titles All Ireland Lurc -

As above, terrier and lurcher show, an annual show that goes from strength to strength. Qualifier for EDRD North Wales and Pride of the Peaks. All classes for terriers and Lurchers as normal. Lurcher racing after the showing, £25 prize money for fastest lurcher. Gates Open at 1pm. Postcode is LD1 6EL. Between Rhayader and Llandrindod Wells, Mid Wales. I am putting this up on behalf of a mate who's pc is playing up otherwise would have put it up herself, apologies if details are a bit sketchy, but i can assure you its a good show.
