I own mali's and the can contribute a hell of a lot, the knpv Line and mondio line dogs have huge drive and are very tough headed animals with huge intelligence that far out weighs any shepherd. A friend of mine put one I've a good lurcher bitch and has had some really good results, one is in Canada hunting deer if I remember rightly and the bloke that now owns him tells my pal how he's never had anything like it.
