  1. Sadly i cant say the same geko

It's always worth having a good suit handy. You never know when you might need it, weddings, funerals, police interviews, magistrates court etc.

I'm sure there have been studies which prove magistrates court defendants in suits are dealt with less harshly than those in trackies and trainers. Mainly, because most magistrates are snobby twats who like to think they can look down on everyone from their elevated position on the bench.

The speaking thing is just practice.

  2. Right guys, time to stop the band wagon. Everyone is saying this company broke procedures or broke rules without knowing the companies procedures.

I think you will find, unfortunately, that there is no specific procedure in law regarding dismisals. The law only states it must be fair.

It appears what they have done is given you a disciplinary with written confirmation. They should have given you prior notice and given you the opportunity to take someone in with you and your views should have been heard, again however I dont think this is law but 'guidance'.

From what you describe I would envisage they may be trying to squeeze some people out, as is often the case with a change of management. With this in mind I would advise you start a work diary and record everything. Also you need to object to the disciplinary in writing and (once you are sure they have not followed correct procedure) lodge a complaint about how it was handled, this will lead to them either recinding the warning or holding a meeting with you. At any future meetings take a pen and notepad and take thorough minutes ask for time to run through them to agree accuracy and to sign for that matter. Make it clear at the begining of the meeting that this is your intention.

Make no bones about it guys, a company can get rid of anyone at anytime, thorough records of procedings will simply help your claim case.

My biggest piece of advice, seek advice from an employment lawyer not a union. First half hour is free anyway.

All good advice, but use a voice recorder not a pen and paper. No law against recording conversations, and no need to tell the other participants you are recording them.

  3. Only time iv come across unite is when they have been stood side by side with gangs of muzzies, causing trouble and spreading hate against anyone they class as "right wing"

Is that the same lot or am I getting mixed up?

Are you not confusing them with union against fascism?

Further research would suggest you're correct. Unite have issued statements opposing the 'apartheid state of Israel'.

  4. Chose this link at random....also reported by BBC, European broadcasters and nearly every daily newspaper.

It's a nice thought, but the middle class is too small to do anything alone. The 'working' class are by and large too apathetic. As long as there is X Factor on TV and turkey twizlers in the freezer they shall sleep walk to destruction.

Iv worked at the same place for the last 16 years never had any warnings then last year I bought a flapjack from the works canteen and took it to my car on my break on the way to my car across the car park I had a couple of bites like I had done for the past 2 years since the new car park was put there like a lot of the other people that work there any way back to the flapjack the security officer on that day decided to film me eating it across the car park and reported me to HR cut a long story short I ended up getting a final written warning for it and kicked out of the Christmas draw you get entered if you don't have a day off all year also you get £500 lost that as well, it says in the hand book no food to be taken out of the canteen, I couldn't do f**k all about it

Jesus my blood is boiling for you pal. That's how loyalty to a firm is rewarded these days

Unless you're the owner, loyalty to any company is a mugs game...

How many acres is the land you have been offered? Is it well fenced an water supply with it? Is it rough ground or decent grass grazing? All these things will play a part in the price you pay. A rough guide you will be looking to pay around 50p a day per sheep (will be diffrent everywere).

    50p a day per sheep?

    50p cheap then??

You want to expand your flock into Gloucestershire BlackDog? For that price, I will even provide all the shepherding for you as well, although you must pay for drugs etc.

    50p a day is £3.50 a week. That's f***ing extortion!

For sheep I'd pay no more than £60/acre per annum, or 75p per head per week.

That's a bit nearer the figures we are getting around here

Doing it commercially, you need to pay no more than £60/acre for permanent pasture/parkland. I charge my clients 75p o head per week for winter tack grazing, but this includes me doing all the electric fencing and shepherding (they provide any drugs required).

I think there is folk on here who just like to disagree with things even more so when it's someone they don't get along with too much, max and gnash both seem to do that a lot and could be the reason they clash so much, more so when it comes to boxing or football. Gnash and a couple others seem to know so much about boxing where as max I get the feeling you just seem to repeat things you have heard or seen else where sorry if I'm wrong bud. Max obviously knows a great deal about greyhounds and that comes through on here when you read his posts. Football can be pure blind passion where no matter what your always going to defend and never be negative about the team you love, let's just remember lads this is only the Internet and a bit of banter

Hasn't every greyhound tip max ever give on here been beaten like a black step child?

And I reckon gnash could dispute shite was stinking and Peter le pooch and fluffy would back him up and max would argue lol

Beaten like a black step child actually made me laugh out loud!

Haven't seen a cub on the side of the road yet Neil must be getting streetwise lol

LOL, is it just me or do all hunting folk slow down to have a look and then feel remorse when they see any wildlife killed on the road.

The only roadkill that doesn't bother me is a dead cat.

I look at everything. Deer go in the back for dog food, and I take foxes for the ministry (round my way they test fox carcasses for trichinaella worm, to see if it is in the boar).

I shed no tears to see road kill badgers. This time of the year, there is no end of them. Saw a couple of ginger ones the other day, nearly stopped to get one for the taxidermist. But thought it wouldn't be a good look, what with me having terriers and all...

  13. Is there a way I can block people so I don't see their posts?

This has been a really excellent and informative post, but one or two fcuking morons are really getting on my wick. If I could just get rid of them my enjoyment of this site would massively increase.

  14. Rothschild smothchild. Who cares. The thing that really ought to worry you is the rise of the rice eaters. The Chinese are engaged in a trade war with the rest of the world.

The U.K. steel industry is disappearing down the swanny as it can't compete with cheap steel from China. Do you really think that Chinese steel will remain cheap once they have destroyed all the competition?

They are manipulating the economies of Australia and New Zealand to buy up their farm land at knock down prices. They already own large parts of Africa. They're building 360+ new coal fired power plants in China, and we are falling over ourselves to close our coal plants, to open the Chinese owned Hinkley Point (which will produce the most expensive energy in the world!).

  15. do the one's that are against swinging get angry when they think of there women shagging there ex's.?

Nothing wrong with a man and a woman having consensual sex. But more than two, or people of the same sex, it's not for me.

The past is the past, but the thought of someone else f***ing my wife, now or in the future, makes me rathe homoicidal.
