The best rifle I ever had. I bought from Alan Bray, Hinckley guns. He acquired it as an Elk rifle. Took red, sika and quite a few roe over the years. Never dreamed of using it on small game. Sadly, as some of you may remember, Alan had a more than unpleasant happening at the shop where he was left in a bad way. As it was so long ago I don’t have any further knowledge. Paulus may know more. Jok.

Guess you called him Spot. Well son, without doubt the best dog I ever had was a lab x spaniel. I trialled both and did fairly well but I never had as good as this cross. You’ll never look back. Jok.

Cynical to say the least ffs. These 5 guys know what the heck they were letting themselves in for. For sure you do not adventure this kind of place without total control. For saying that, the total control may have let them down. Jok.

Was having this conversation earlier. The deepest I personally went was 79 mts because normal breathing air becomes toxic at mts. Dodgy kind of place to be in my opinion. I doubt there will be a happy result even though I’m sure everyone has got everything crossed. Jok.

I doubt anyone living round here doesn’t know Livens of Burton on Trent. They have always been well respected for their knowledge with air weapons. As to knowing anyone personally then the answer is no. There must be a reason for the question however. Jok.

Well. For my 60th birthday I was, amongst other things, blessed with a track day at Donnington Park. My instructor who I know very well, gave me carte Blanche for as many laps as I wanted. My family and a few friends were thre with the cameras. Little did they, or I, know what was coming. Pulled into pit lane, relieved and slightly exhausted to be met with, don’t take your leathers off we have a surprise for you. Well Ron Haslqm came in and said jump on. FFS. Ron suggested I hang on and squeeze his bum with my knees when I’dhad enough. I lasted 4 laps, mostly on the back wheel. What a rush. No

May not have been on here but in the past we have had white pheasant, blackbird, crow and more predictably rabbits. I’m sure there are a few more. Just by the way, never seen a white squirrel. Jok.

The Countryside Alliance is a sham as is BASC. There is no longer, IMO, any legislative protection for any fieldsports. The March didn’t fulfil our hopes by a long stretch. Jok.

Done 2 runs to East Midlands Airport where I had permission and din’nt see a coney. To be fair I haven’t seen a rabbit in ages.

Not that I’m any judge. Belted Galloway were the beast of the Borders. There weren’t many milking type cows in our area. I like the idea of people wanting a highland breed. Jok.
