Thing is. I returned from the Middle East in 1984 so must have met Alan 86/87. We shot at the barracks and Kingsbury at the same time. I remember the RO saying on the radio, who the fck is shooting that thing!? That was A range at Whittington. I didn’t know Alan had passed. Jok.

I’m no fisherman. I’m guessing that Paulus an Iknow where the biggest pike are and it’s not far from where we both live. This subject has been brought up on a few occasions. Thing is, you can dive and have a head on with a behemoth as I have done on many an occasion. Also the tench are quite formidable. Fishing is taboo but I seem to remember a fishing pundit being allowed to have a go. Jok.

Fuertaventura is our winter choice. The town centre, the harbour, the restraints and nightlife are all good as is the walk along a good 2 k’s of Sandy beach. Weather is good so all in all a good location. Jok.

No pics nesessary but I’ve been making a shit load of chutneys and piccalilli. Green bean, red tomato, green tomato, all of the above with courgette and in some dried chilli flakes. When I mention these in conversation quite a number of folks look at you as if from another planet. I had two guys working for me and I gave them a mixed hamper. What a waste of time that was. Mac is all day long. Ah well! Jok.
