  2. cool, thanks Accip, ive ordered that too wont get them until i go home in about 2 weeks, but found out my dad also had the Parry-jones booked mentioned, but also Emma Ford Falconry art and practice, anybody know if that ones good? he kept a HH about 20 years ago so hoping he can help me along the way too!

Hi all, had a read through the topic because im in a similar situation to Bobkizzyhugo and from what ive read was going to get The Complete Rabbit and Hare Hawk, as just mentioned, and also Falconry and Hawking: Philip Glasier, since Martin is in the forum I thought id get his first. So was basically wondering if its worth getting the second one too? is there any different content or is it mostly covered in The Rabbit and Hare Hawk? Matt

    hi guys, fairly new to this but doing my best to learn, reading a lot online, mostly here haha, and watching a lot of videos but can anyone recommend the best books or DVDs to get please? there seems to be a wide selection and dont want to waste loads of time and money on ones that aren't any good! any suggested of stuff thats helpful or people used themselves would be great Mainly looking for stuff to do with care, training and a general beginners guide, mostly likely thinking of getting a harris hawk Thanks, Matt

  10. ah thats annoying lets hope you can get out soon im down on the south coast and the weathers been horrible here too! is it rain or wind which is the major issue with flying? (im a total novice but trying to learn in the hope of getting a BOP after uni, sorry if thats an obvious question!)

  14. Hi all, just to introduce myself, my names matt, have been reading forums for a while now so decided to join up. Keen shooter and fisherman, love a bit of trapping when I get the chance too! I'd love to get into falconry, but currently still at university, so want to learn as much as i can on the topic before i finish uni Happy to be here, Thanks Matt
