    Hi there I am looking for a young bedlington whippet which is house trained and from good breeding has to be house trained as the missis stands her ground on not keeping dogs in the kennel and i have to let her win on some things. We are a very caring family and already have a three year old britany spanial who i use for rough shooting, marking whilst ferreting,and some beating.     Any tips out there for poleing up stop nets and where to get poles and rubbers at a sensible price?

    Hi there all depends on the ferret really i have had young jills work well and young jills work poorly most important thing is to give them a chance by starting them on a small bury not very deep and preferably with a nice bolting rabbit in it. You can also make drain pipe tunnels at home for her to get used to going into the dark unknown with may be small treats of rabbit in them if possible. I could possibly come up to you from bristol and show how i do it with purse and long nets if there are a lot of rabbits to be caught. Hope this helps.

    Hi there i am a 32 year old very keen ferreter (is that a word?) that lives in north east somerset and new to this forum. I cant think of any better way to spend my weekends than to be out with a couple of ferrets and a load of nets,which i have been doing on and of since the age of 13. I am hoping to pick up and maybe give out some hints and tips in this great sport we all share. At this time i keep 2 hobs 3 gills and 3, three week old kits,of which 2 i will hopfully find a good home for through this forum.
