Does anybody know if any reputable net traders will be at the midland. I'm after my first set of purse nets. Any recommendations?

The report suggested that 150 dogs have been saved but 40 perished. Bad news when one dogs home is housing 140 dogs, I thought this country was a nation of animal lovers. The antis/rent-o-mob constantly go on about greyhounds getting a raw deal before and after racing, I think their campaigns would be better aimed at the pet owning public. Also what is going through a young lads mind to set fire to a dogs home? Sick.

Breaking news from BBC North West tonight. A juvenile has been arrested in connection with the fire. 40 dogs dead.

I love the dogs and look forward to my lad being able to come with me to Belle Vue when he is old enough. But until then I will keep him interested in dogs and the field in other ways. So I got on the retired greyhound trusts webshop and bought my lad a book "bo" about a racing dog that has to retire. It came today, read it to him at bedtime. Hi all, got a jill kit near a month ago, lovely girl thats coming on great. Realy happy with her. She is my first ferret. Not sure about her age but she is now 500 grams and putting on weight fine. Currently feeding her on pigeon breast and kibble mix. She also eats turkey and partridge. She is very handleable but sometimes does a bit of gnawing. Good with collar and training her with a dog whistle and drainage pipes. My questions are what vaccinations do you boys get for your ferrets? And will neutering have any detrimental effects on my jill when it comes to working her? Also my jill get

Just starting out ferreting and learning the ropes. I have a young jill called porridge and she is coming along great. Have been into air rifle shooting and fishing for some years. I have a fit and healthy SBT who is about 9 years, wouldn't refer to him as a serious working dog in the slightest but occasionally gets the odd rabbit and is good on rats, also a strong digger. I have a interest in running dogs but do not own one. Work as a Forester on a large estate. Other interests include motorcycles. Which I ride everyday. Cheers.
