  1. Ditto I bought the Webley one for my R-10 great value, well pleased.
  2. Hi, I purchased a new Mk 2 R-10 vc.177 last week so far all o.k, shoots spot on 11.8 Ft-Lbs with 8.4 Diablo Fields, the new style mags are really smooth, did have to re tension the mag spring though but cycles fine now & no jam's as yet,Very nice walnut stock gave it 3 coats of walnut oil & it looks fantastic now.I was thinking about having the barrel shortened & a shroud fitted but it's shooting so good, think i will leave well alone for time being don't want to upset the apple cart. Time will tell i suppose regarding any faults,at the moment i'm very pleased i took the plunge
  3. 1....Air Arms S400 Classic .177 lovely marked beech stock (local rfd thought it looked more like walnut) & bluing very good,Rowan 8 shot conversion, air arms silencer,2 x Fill Adapter's,Sling & quick release studs.Gun is spot on,shoots pellet on pellet 11.6 Ft-Lbs.A/t still intact, but power can be adjusted on side grub screw. 2....Brocock Concept .22 Single shot walnut stock,Niko Stirling Mountmaster 3-9x40 Ao Scope silencer, fill adapter.Cracking little .22 in very nice condition,11.6 Ft-Lbs. Would like to swap both guns for a Buddy Bottle type rifle or Parker hale phoenix.May cons
  4. Depends on a lot of things really, plenty of info on web including this site google is your friend. If you are new to hunting you will need lots of practice on targets before you hunt live quarry. As for choosing the right gun i would personally go for a pcp, using a spring rifle for hunting requires more skill, even more so if you are a newbie to hunting. As for power I would recommend between 10.5 Ft-Lbs to 11.5 Ft-lbs,then there is a choice of which caliber of pellet to choose, however there is so many variables to consider in hunting, gun type/pellet choice in fact to many to go through in th
  5. Here you go worth the effort i should imagine, will be doing mine this weekend if weather doesn't pick up otherwise of shooting . http://www.shootforum.com/forum/s4x0trigger.html
  6. Hi Guy's,Thanks for the replies your comments are appreciated, seems like my initial thoughts where correct.I think i will leave well alone to be honest, didn't like the thought of drilling out the A/T & drilling holes in the cylinder, after all it is a really accurate gun and shoots spot on,was just looking to improve shot count to around consistent full power shots. Owned a nice Hw a few years back & always regretted parting with it.so may try and sell/exchange my two pcp's at a later date and go for the Hw 100 or another multi shot gun. Paul.
  7. Hi,I own a very nice accurate Air Arms S400 Classic .177 cal,It is a real tack driver shoot's at 11.6 Ft-Lbs,the sweet spot is from around 120 to 165 Bar so about 35 or so good full power shots before it starts to drop off. I have been looking at regulators and was wondering if it would be of any real benefit fitting one, read a little about regulators so before i decide, has anyone here fitted one and what where your results.I don't really want to waste nearly notes if its not worth fitting one. Thanks in advance, Paul.
  8. Hi to all, Just like to introduce myself. The name is Paul & I live near Wolverhampton in the west midlands.I gave up shooting some years ago after having surgery that left me immobile for a fairly lengthy time, however i am now back on my feet again and will be taking up shooting again. My former experiences involved the use of shotguns & air rifles, mainly for pest control purposes.I am hoping to join a couple of airgun clubs again as i no longer have any permissions for rough shoots like the ones i used to have, besides i no longer use shotguns only a couple of nice pcp's & o
