Ha. Its a shocking video. I couldn't plan a piss up in a brewery, hence the 'off hand' camera work. Epic rifles though. A sweet shooting .22 97... Nothing better. And you agree. I know you do v'man. Wish I didn't have a stainless one though. Dont know why. Atb.

Made a shitty little video. No idea why. New iPhone 6, so perhaps checking out its video quality [not amazing in hindsight]. Attempted to edit out the boring bits. Excuse the language. I was really just seeing what both rifles were doing at 30 and 50 yards. No script, made it up as I went along. Conclusion is. Both rifles, are as good as each other. But we all knew that anyway.

I'm just watching some shit telly. There's a programme on about bailiffs, and so on. Anyway, some Indian driving instructor has been caught with a kitchen knife in his car, no idea why, don't really care, but it's made me think... So imagine, We're/I'm driving to a perm. I carry a knife. And a rifle for that matter. I get pulled over. The old bill find the knife, where do we stand? Naturally it is being used for a reason while out in the field, as knives do. It is an offenence to carry a bladed weapon, but clearly I'm on my way to a shooting permission. Thoughts?

Fixed target mate, Ive actually made a shit video of it all, comparing the 97 to the Pro Sport out to 50 yards. Ill upload it this evening. Im not a movie maker so dialogue is dire at best

Nice one fellas. Its a SAK mod Mac, made for 22LR. Its as good as the HW, no better to my ears, but just as good. Massive baffles inside the chamber. It actually could be a tad quieter on a scientific level but it makes no difference in the field. See you on the other side you lot. Ill take my macbook down to cornwall with me and check up on whats going on now and then. x

Get a TX. You'll benefit from a 'tuned feel in an out of the box set up'. The issue is that if you don't have a springer, perhaps a lower end one, shooters don't benefit from the shooting process of a high end rifle. As there is nothing to compare it too. If you get a 500 quid PCP, you won't get any better. It's like having bad eyes and always wearing glasses, your eyes will become weaker and rely on the lens in the glasses all the time. The analogy is, refine and improve your shooting technique with a rough as ya arse springer, and benefit from this when you miss 1 in 10 targets wit your

An Ultra. Kit it right out too... Scope. The lot. Any 300 plus springer will also be fine. But you may get annoyed at missing more than you hit early on. If you dont want to miss, within reason, go the PCP route, if you "want" to become a good shot, go the springer route.

Bashin the rabbits this evening, my last outting till on go down Padstow fishing for 10 days on Friday. With the Mrs, of course, but she knows how to sup vino and I try to tie fishing knots... Spent a whole day shooting both springers on Monday (needed to get my fix) so wanted to get out with my only PCP at the moment for a few hours. As per, it's game taking was easy. If you follow through correctly as per springer, the 100 takes on anything out to 50 yards with ease. Seriously. ALLLLL of you know this as you ALLLLL have them

I just wipe mine down with a towel coated in WD40. Stick it in the cupboard. End of. All my rifles are done the same after shooting.

You must have sensitive hearing... a little clink of a safety catch to much? The downside for me is they are a lump to carry all day [The good ones]. A few hours fine. But 8 hours gets a bit to much.
