You cant compare the two, be carefull on ripping into scotlands ££££ the bbc have just been found guilty of reporting false information.. LOL Around 100 billion £ exports would be a good place to start for a new independent scotland The EU “procedure”, incidentally, would go something like this: SCOTLAND: Can we join/stay, please? EU: Do you meet all the criteria? SCOTLAND: Yes, we’ve been a member for 40 years already in the UK. EU: Welcome! There seems to be a seat free.

It seems to me that the nationalist seem to have it in there heads that there always getting a rough deal when in fact Scotland has the best deal on many things that the rest of us are subsidizing they have been unchallenged for 10 years there living in a bubble ...problem with bubbles is they eventually pop! the old subsidize line, i was wondering when that would be mentioned... what next, scotland cant afford to be independent Ironically Joe the only way Scotland will afford it is by taking the deserting companys after brexit and filling the place with eastern Europeans to fill the jo

cmon mate you can do better than this, show me information that states the 3 countries have said they will 100% veto scotland we can use the pound, some of the old arguments you guys are repeating have been debunked loads of times. its just as much scotlands as its any other country in the uk... we have seen recent the drop in the pound, how much more would it drop without scotland? would be a big loss, in the hard times to come What you say doesn't make sense. Of course the pound is as much yours as it is any country in the UK. Surely the point is you wouldn't be in the UK, so the

Unfortunately, if Scotland ever did become independent, public spending would have to be slashed in a way that would make most Scotsmen beg to be allowed back into the UK under a Tory government. That's not forgetting all the powers that will be handed back to Brussels with no rebate what makes you say that mate? we also wouldnt be paying large sums towards high speed rail, upkeep on buckingham palace, westminster, trident etc etc

It doesn't matter if it's the 1st or 100th independence referenfum, if it's the will of the Scottish people then that should be good enough.

  22. f**k that Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy opposes EU talks with Scotland | The Independent Not the best granted, I'm trying to find the guy off the telly here from the other morning stating clearly the Spanish governments position has not changed, veto can and will be used. You do realise Spain still don't recognise Kosovo as an independent nation a main reason they are not part of the EU. Spain just won't have it and lets face it Spain is far more important than Scotland to the EU (just think vegetables and produce that supplies the continent). No offence but Bukkie and a dr
  23. jajajaja, the two situations are different. catalonia in spain is different from scotland in the uk.. spain keep saying an iscotland would need to reapply, go through the process every other country does can you provide a recent link or video from someone high up in spains government, that states 100% they will veto scotlands eu membership if it tries to rejoin. not maybe, could, if etc etc etc
