    it blew my mind to be honest.............. id seen the lurcher work in the day out on the hill and was very decent at its job...... i then passed the lurcher in the back of the lads landy with the sheep dogs to which he said he uses him for gathering..... a week or so later i seen the red dog fetching sheep off one of the hills with three sheep dogs and he certainly knew the game atb

    theres a lad here in mid wales who uses his red bitch to heard sheep with the sheep dogs........ and to be fair its a decent animal for it......always amazes me how the same lurcher will hunt the hill and mark foxes to ground ignoring the sheep!? a few lads on here would know of the dog atb

    we are plagued with them here in mid wales!! infact just last night me and joe off here were doing some ratting on a carp lake for a fella and one broke cover and made for the island. great fun we used to have hunting the mink with the terriers, was a great way of socialising youngsters. most the time i found they were not in earths as such but in "root tangles" as we called them. Big balls of roots that erode back into the bank.     this is the bitch spoken about above "Tanner" that was given to me by GAZ very easy to get on with type of mutt..... my problem is IF the time came to take a pup of her would be finding a sire that is small enough for my needs....id like something 10-12".... and ive stated to a few lads that have asked...the pups would be gifted when the time comes atb
