  18. May be worth doing a treatment with stronghold as this covers sarcoptic mange, had a little problem with two of mine lately, one course and its cleared up no problem. JDF

  21. my opinion is, i would stay away from a freelander, had experience with them and the clutchs are rubbish. the vitara not to sure. the main consideration is what you want it for, if its just for basic track work and nothing rougher then i would look at a Ford ranger, hilux or L200 If you are doing heavy work then a Defender 90 / 110 Also consider a pick up with the box on the back keeps all the damp, dog smells etc out and you dont need to worry about the mess.   24. hi mate, two of my pals have 110's one is a 200tdi 1990ish and the other is a td5, one thing noticable is that the 200tdi pulls much better up hill etc not to sure why this considering the engine age. I also have a 300tdi def 90. in my opinion the 200 and 300tdi engines seem to be very reliable and also very easy to work on, also there is very little in the way of electrics on the so less things to go wrong. One main thing to look over when buying a landrover is to check check and check the chassis, for rot. May be worth trying to buy a landie with a galvanised chassis once you have t
