I use a 22-250 for fox I used hornady 55grain vmax very capable round as are all the other calibers mentioned it's up to you as you know your land a from your replies you seem grounded and sensible so I'll explain my choice. I too went through same which caliber phase my choice came after speaking to a older country gent who pointed out the same points as some already have judgment of distance with the flat flying round that carries a lot of energy at further ranges. I now reload due to costs but if as you say only getting the odd one or two every now and then I paid £22 per 20 once zeroed in you Won't go through that many. I have never had a runner with this caliber it hits where I put the crosshairs and the energy transfer from balistitc tips is amazing

Well I went to buy a jumper for a pheasant shot I have been invited to so in my local gun shop they did not actually have a jumper in my size and the youngest daughter had come with me and was looking at the pistols so went over to have a peek next thing the dan Wesson.375 magnum was in my hand been very impressed with the weight and realistic feel i started asking about accuracy and running costs with the co2 bulbs was pleasantly surprised before I knew it was in the bag. Telling the youngest if she did not tell the wife she could have a go when I got it home. She loved it nearly as much as me really good fun plinking with her in back yard. Would highly recommend one to any one wanting to quick fire plinking fun

Yep I'd listen to that advice you got the all clear don't rock the boat get shooting and when you been doing it awhile go for open conditions then it won't matter as long as you have permission to shoot

Nice work 28yards is really good everyone normally goes on about I shot this one a mile away and stuff but In my opinion the close you get them the better the field craft well done

In the market for a new scope and seen one of these
Vortex Viper HS-T 6-24×50 SFP Riflescope They seem to be a ideal scope for my 22-250 but has any one had one of these and are they any good

If it's your mates land they can't stop you they might have a go at your van though if you keep doing it as they know it belongs to a shooter. Best parking somewhere else

Hueys! How about a fleet of drones all geared up with IR and NV all controlled via a large screen tv, you could shoot a whole farm in minutes, get one of those road sweeper attachments on the front to clear the haul. That looks just the job, Ad.
All you'll need then is to blast out a bit of Flight Of The Valkyries and get few Hueys to fly over head dropping napalm. The foxes won't know what hit them!
Like this ?
