  1. The second one mate as it's slightly smaller with foot treads, brought one about 2 weeks ago with the fibre glass handle, we'll impressed with mine, a good alrounder.
  2. There is no number for the Wiltshire and Hampshire rep but I don't know if there is a rep so anyone with info would be much appreciated.
  3. Thinking of joining the fell and moorland club but not sure where the nearest rep is to us, we're in the oxfordshire area, any help would be good and also what you lot think of the club?
  4. I'm mainly out bunnie bashin, foxing and deer shooting when the weather is right, most of my shooting is done between Shillingford and Harwell from a vehicle when the weather is right, I also do a bit of pigeon shooting and crow shooting. Lamping with a 22 is a pain in the winter months because you end up doing more harm than good because you need to be that much closer to the rabbits, with a hmr you can cover most of the fields from one spot.
  5. Weather is not on our side at the moment mate, hopefully get some frost on the ground soon because the ground is too soft to drive at the moment. What guns are you using for Lamping mate?
  6. I'm the other side of oxfordshire mate. Around the Harwell area, otherwise I'd come and give you hand but I'm in the same boat over this way, struggling to find someone to lamp or shoot with me.
  7. What part of oxfordshire are you shooting mate, I'm also in the oxfordshire area with around 5000 acres to cover alone.
  8. I've got the FAC sx3 and it doesn't like light loads, it is best with 30g loads and over, apart from that it hasn't been to bad, some small problems with it but nothing major that we couldn't sort out. The browning maxus is the same sort of design but better made and will shot lighter loads, a mates maxus shoots down to 24g loads. Both good guns and nice to shoot. All I can say is stick with something you know and don't go for a cheap semi because I've seen them break up inside mate.
  9. Not a bad video, would be nice to see it used in the field to see what the range is like.
  10. Was out and about Thursday night but wasn't that much about really, shot around 10 in a couple of hours but got me out the house. I'm going to get out again tonight to try my luck, weather seems good so I'm hoping for a good night.
  11. It's not too bad out there at the moment, had 40 rabbits the over night in a couple of hours. There is still plenty to get stuck into in the oxfordshire area mate.
