  1. Thanks to you all for your comments. Seems the sensible thing would be to shoot HFT style as opposed to FT style, Cheers All
  2. Thanks Rez. I only do target shooting so time is not a problem. Sub 12 foot only for me. I have had hawke scopes prior (and on my springer now) and have always used aim points so I do get where your coming from. Probably is quicker and easier. Cheers
  3. I first would like to ask opinions for shooting by making mil dot corrections for distance, against making click adjustments for distance as I have a new scope which is a Nikko Stirling and does not have mil dots on the reticle, it has a christmas tree type and i don't know how far apart they are in relation to mil dots. 5. HI there. ~Would love to get involved in one of your events. Where is the best place to get info and do I have to join something??? Cheers

Any help, however technical, would be appreciated but bear in mind I am new and may not be aware of acronyms etc. Thank in advance. Oh and if there is someone or somewhere else I can get this info please let me know.
  8. Just wanted to say hello having just joined the forum. A little about me. Before Dunblane and the law changes etc, I was heavily into FAC Police pistol, practical pistol, practical shotgun, sports shotgun, pigeon shooting, full bore rifle shooting both pleasure and match(but not to seriously) amongst other things like making my own reloads. I got rid of all my guns, and cut myself off from the shooting community as a way to deal with giving up. In 2000 I emigrated from Essex to Co Durham and have now got the shooting bug again. Did a lot of research and found that one of the best and most
