  1. Anybody recommend any decent knives for butchering deer? Reasonable price too if possible ? Cheers
  2. Where it says calibre then type. I take it it is meaning, calibre .177 type hmr and calibre 22/250 type centre fire ect? Also when it gives a page for additional information I have used this space to allow the farmers who have given me shooting permission to write and sign as they have given me no form of written permission will that be ok?
  3. Suppose its just good getting out and seeing a bit just guttin missin two sitters on the trot
  4. Was out tonight got set up then into the first field on the permission. started calling, straight away i caught a pair of eyes bolting towards me whistled into about 45 yards lit him up with the torch took the shot and missed. Last week same situation I had one sitting about the same distance sat there for ages and I still missed. Was just wondering if folk miss often as that two easy shots in two outings absolutely gutted.
  5. Would strong stuff be able to make a wide collar ie 1"1/2 or 2" for a dog with a 13" neck my terrier can slip most normal thin collars . The tapered whippet collars are great but keep wearing out to quickly as I'm out with him quite a bit

  16. Its has a great finish ill make up a guide this weekend and I rreckon you could have it dull if you just didnt laquer it. Not to sure how it would hold up wear and tear wise because I dont use the gun but it was a fun project and looks great
  17. yeah mate sanded it down myself with low grain sand paper until all the old varnish was off it then went over it with a high grain to get it nice and smooth. I used green rustoleum spray paint and gave it 3 base coats. i then used lenghs of grass fanned out and quickly sprayed over from distance with the gold and black colours to give the camoflauge effect then i sprayed it 3 times with clear laquer think i have a guide that explains it better mate but its decent quality and easy to do
