  1. Time for a little Update. So before Christmas i ordered some parts from Steve Pope @ V-Mach. They were for the January prodution run. I got a text to ay my order was complete on the 15th, so i phoned, paid and had a nice chat about the order. Well postie knocked on my door at 10.15 the very next day. How did Steve know to complete my order on the week i had off? Well didn't take long to get all the bits out. Awesome quality. Ok so this isn't a 60 second mod! It's not for the faint hearted and does require a degree of ability a bit highe
  2. So im looking at doing a couple of bits to my 77, stock repolish for one as it got scratched in the shop and it looks kinda dull, then it is over 25 years old and hasnt been refurb since new. second will be a buffalo horn pad for the bottom of the pistol grip area. When George makes it!! Lastly in January i will be taking delivery of a V-Mach Race muzzel brake/ Silencer, i spoke to Steve Pope about a week ago and sorted the details and he will be making it soon Then its on to the Valuemax, i gave this to my daughter and her boyfriend to use. Its kinda twangy but in fairness its no
  3. 14.5's are everso slightly too big on a Hw77. 13.5 i would think too small, defo for a 77 anyways. id go for as close too 14 as possible
  4. anyone know of any clearance issues with fitting a mamba to a Hw77? Loading port access etc
  5. Well i bought a Webley Valuemax in .177 for £100 brand new in green, the camo is £20 or so extra and adds nothing to the gun. I also bought a set of scope mounts and a tin of accupells grand total £120. 1st off i will say im not overly keen on the synthetic stock, thats just me im sure. overall, its shoots very well, has an auto on safety catch (when you cock it the safety comes on) which swung this purchase as my daughter uses it. It is accurate, well balanced, light and comfortable to shoot. Overall im very pleased and suprised by this little gun. It was marketed along side a crossman
  6. i think they are the same as a Hw77 so the under lever one is just over 14mm i think
  7. i've been looking at hawke scopes, i like the SR Pro reticle but having looked at the MTC site the mamba looks like a good choice and cheaper than the hawke. im not overly fussed about having a golf bag wheel attached to the side of my scope so im thinking this mamba might be coming my way. anyone had any dealings with the taipan thing
  8. i Guess it depends on How much you want to spend what you want to use it for if you want new or second hand if you are bothered about age
  9. Thats about a year older than mine Elliot, 1986 vintage Hw77 Custom. Lovely gun was a great choice..
  10. I've had that "it's me or the ....." ultimatum before though mine was more about my car... being a kind and generous chap i helped her pack!!
  11. I just bought a couple of guns. A webley valuemax .177 it's a good size, light and well balanced, my daughter can shoot it nicely. Cost was listed i my gunshop at £110. i paid £120 gun, hawke scope mounts and a tin of accupells. On my second visit i looked for a gun for my son a twiggy little fella of 18. We decided on a second hand Webley Omega .22. Which has a nice comfortable feel, is a good weight, has lovely balance ad is i goooood nick. Price £199 but it was also fitted with a braided leather sling, silencer, 3-9x40 wide angle scope. it is also ultra smooth, silent cocking w
  12. Little picture update. My Sling True Hw owners will love this. i think..... And the trigger guard.... needs polishing. Enjoy... Thanks for all the nice comments..
  13. Hi Everyone as i'm new here and now out of the waiting for a moderator to check my every post i thought i'd post up some pictures. I currently live on the South Lincs Border of Cambridgeshire. I'm looking for permissions around that area if anyone knows of any. Stamford, Bourne, Spalding, The Deepings, Maxey that sort of area. Currently The Arsenal consists of..... So there they are, left to right Webley Valuemax .177 Green Synthetic stock. Webley Omega .22 and Custom Hw77 Venom .22 So Firstly the little Webley Valuemax, i bought this just over 3 weeks ago with the Hawke
