  1. Gin traps are good, especially when u hear the commotion and run out side an their still rolling sound in the floor trying to get it off their leg ? then u can set ur rottie on them and see which bites harder
  2. Yer when he said 3 weeks I was a bit surprised but he’s not lame on it now, it’s only slightly swollen under his toe and doesn’t make a sound or pull away when putting pressure on his toes, I’ll probably leave it abit longer to be honest, it would be nice to have a few nights out at end of season though
  3. Sorry just remembered I did cut his nails after I took those pics so when Mike saw them they were fine ?
  4. That’s ya man so I would of thought he would of found a problem if there was one ?
  5. Swelling pretty much all gone down but Went to see the vet this morning and he said it was the tendon under t he middle toe and the foot was ok and nails weren’t too long, 3 weeks of road walking and he will be fine ? hopefully get a couple of outings in back end of season
  6. Thank you for everyone’s help ? I think this must be the only thread that hasn’t turned noncy or throwing abuse at one another ? cheers lads I’ll post what the vet says Friday

  8. A day an a bit of just a cold hose pipe 4 times a day ? looking a lot better am still can’t see any holes so hopefully just dislocated an popped back in ?
  9. I’ll triple check again in morning but I am pretty sure there’s nothing in it ?
  10. It’s a Hancock spesh ? to be fair I do like the dog and when he’s good he’s good can’t fault him but it’s just these niggling injuries doin my head in and if it was middle of the summer I wouldn’t be too arsed but this time of year and only having 1 young dog to run it’s a bit of a shitter
  11. Can’t see any holes just a couple of graze marks where I was prob scrubbing the bone radial on with a toothbrush abit too hard
  12. It soft and he wasn’t so bothered about me squeezing it yesterday but I think by putting the bone radial on it it’s made it sore to touch now
  13. This is his latest injury and tried that bone radial stuff on it but it’s just made it red and it’s now got a broken skin around it now
  14. This is my first collie cross and seems like every time it’s the perfect lamping night the f***ing dog is lame, I’ve had 3/4 grey crosses before and never been plagued the injuries like this dog, I know the greyhounds won’t have hardy feet but either I’ve been really lucky with my other lurchers of this one is prone to injury’s ? any ideas ?
  15. Dogs look stunning mate and in fine fetal ?
