    ive lost ground ,through no fault of my own, had 80 acres not a lot but get few runs on it, was always told by owner that if go lamping bell him , which I did . Well was getting night sorted out, so phone him , he said w\s you on the other night, I said no as I told him I phone 1st, before I go on . He said had few other landowners who live by moaning , about lamp al over the place, so said its better if don't come on any more , as i don't want any lamping on or by my place. Well what twat of human being :censored: I done no wrong but lost ground for feck all. But I learned big lesson that day say feck all and just go on, you may as well bcause if you don't , somebody else will. :yes: the days of me knocking doors are over, ok if bump into somebody in a pub or etc. meaning nothing planed might drop it out in chat, but that's it. if you got ground great look after it, but some people are very fickle like as above , you never know whats around the corner .?

    Just be careful. One of our biggest shoots has given us orders to shoot any dogs on sight, apart from two labs that walk on there.. he's always got livestock around, anything from sheep to cattle, plus it's a deer shoot.

     

    And before you go off on one about what you would do if your dog dropped dead bear in mind (A ) we're on night vision so you wouldn't even know we were there, and (B ) we carry firearms, skinning knives, machetes and 6 foot shooting sticks. And there's always more than one !

     

    Just be careful and check all round for empty parked vehicles :thumbs:

    And they give pricks like you a licence?

    I second that what a bell end so tell me something how would get a clean shot off at the dog if it was by its owner or let me guess you would shoot it when it was running a rabbit nice work John Wayne

    all these coursing men go on about its unfair if they wanna see ther dogs tested run then on more than ten runs on lamp ther dogs disintegrate maybe first five runs look easy because ther racy fast but after that they haven't got what it takes ive seen it with my own eyes daytime dogs are long winded dogs a gud lamp dog will be short winded but get its wind back quick horses for courses am not saying you carent get dogs that will do both you will but they will just be medeocker at both you cant have the best of both worlds

    mike not in a nasty way but no wippets are renowned for stamina if they never killed quick they would blow out wippets are speed machines that's [bANNED TEXT] ther bread for there will be good ones but ho ever told you they have stamina are quite wrong even ask vennes hell tell you coz hes clued up with wippets

    gaz a fink a lot to do with stamina and recouvery is fitness but for instance a colie cross isent long winded and wouldent out run a long winded saluki in day but on lamp run after run short bursts rabbits eg a saluki wouldent out run a collie x and for night after night a saluki wouldent run with a collie x because it wouldent hold its weight as good the reason I no this is because I have a good friend I have was into big numbers of long ears on lamp he had a colie type dog wich was highly rated his brother was into daytime coursing on the big land he had a couple of dogs that he rated and he fort they would out run the colliex on lamp and they faild one ran the same one nyt but next night disintegrated the lad with the collie killed 2 on big land and it was nackered but the collie x man said his was a lamp dog
