    Thats what ive got.....second X beddie/whip(sire)...collie grey/whip(dam)....only thing is hes quite hard mouthed,bites like a crocodile lol...but its not something that bothers me so pretty much ideal dog for me....

    well there are believe it or not some folk on this forum who are only just getting into working with a dog,ferret,hawk etc and its important they know there rights !!!!!! Not everyone been in it 20+ years an know the game an current leglislation inside out...atb gravedigger

    Cheers lads....only lost the eye two weeks ago last night first time av had him on the hills since...so well pleased he can still catch...just goes to show , one eye or not a worker will always work....onwards an upwards..atb gravedigger..

    Pirate lurcher is what my two young boys call the dog as he now only has one eye...caught one of them tryin to put an eye patch from a costume on him lol...any way had him out last night an he took a few rabbits...missed a few a wouldve expected him to take but so far the signs are good hes adjusting to losing an eye....atb...gravedigger..

    Well said mate.....they have to catch you first lol.....back to the old days of gamekeeper v poacher lol......f#ck the antis they'll never beat us lads.....one of the best things av ever saw was an anti try to confront my mate whose terrier was well marked up (pre ban) only to end up eatin a right hander which knocked him out cold an sent his anti mates up there own ars#'s lol...long live the dogmen !!!!!!!!

    she knows the score wi this lot mate weve had lurchers for years so shes pretty clued up...but her mate was in a state of shock lol..she wouldve let them in to examine the dog etc etc....if i can find this thread im gonna print off copies an hand them out to anyone i know who owns an animal..dog cat budgie etc etc...lets take the fight to them !!!

    A few weeks ago someone posted a quite informative bit about there lack of rights concerning turning up at someones door demanding too see dogs /kennels etc...could one of the mods please pin this,reason being my wifes friend was visited by them today an they turned up mob handed lolthey had a report of an injured dog bein kept at the address...its a shi tzu that got hit wi a car two days ago an luckily only got a few cuts an bruises..its been to a vet already..an believe me this thing eats better than most people i know lol no expense spared..thankfully the wife was there an she knows the sco

    the thing that gets me though if people see a pet collie or spaniel chasing them its a wee jolly but because our dogs are capable of catching them the bambi syndrome kicks in and all lurchermen (and women) are barbaric hoodlums.........well said mate !!! Atb gravedigger

    If i were you id try get out with sime other terrier lads who work there dogs an see how he is.....if thats not possible right away then get him on rats..it should in some way channel his drive an hunting instinct,an will go a bit of the way to relieving his pent up hunting instinct by the sound of it,till you decide what your going to do with him..an watch him like a hawk till you get kennels up or you could easily end up with one or two seriously injured dogs should him an your other terrier decide to sort things out between themselves !
