    Yynsnor......Terriers of this type all over the Lakes....Still get this type poppin' up Terrain,usually dictates where Terriers end up Similiar build and Traits ,will always end up in the Hands of men who Need a "TYPE" to work in their Domain & Weather.. That's why the Trade in Fell Type was two way....meant Hill dogs for Hill country.......Wales, Scotland,Ireland...an Russells for the Soft South Black Dogs ,just Aberdeen Terriers with Dropped ears ( SCOTTIES) of the Old Todhunters,melted into the Xbreeds of the South.. Thats' my take on it anyway .

    indeed i love it..i like very much how a lot of the interveiws and men from it are in egremont ( imo the home of the fell and lakeland!) its the small town ive lived in my hole life and theirs still a few boys about and their lads i know well in that book...seen one just this mornin..infact i think i gave him a £200 donation for charity! so i must be in a good mood That's good to know PK, would that one be the son of the most obvious one? probly.....     The Zippo will end up burning your fingers more than lighting the Pipe get a pipe lighter, they direct the flame into the Bowl...,but don't tell the missus Go into Grahams on Rose St.. ask to sample the Aromatics,,The've got their own inhouse Whiskey Blend would prob suit you...and if you like a certain cigar ,get them to match up a blend for you..     Theres' the rub...."ADVERTISING "..if you have to. Well !!!! there out there ...Tho I know of Good Blood being ..Advertised,albiet not Border..To pay Bills and keep other Dogs / Huntin' going..,but that's not the norm. None of these Dogs were Advertised..with any Breeding or History..the buyers buying in full knowledge,all they were getting was a "DOG" although a couple of months in they would be probably wondering what they had let themselves into Most dogs I.M.O. Advertised ,with this Ped and that Ped..take with a pinch of salt..nearly never get, what it says on the Tin..

    Stopend ; alot of lines will have been influenced by "Bull" on purpose some Some Not !, the Breeder can only go on the information given....Some wich could be Doubtful,more often than not ...thus some Who wish to steer clear of such blood ...will get it ...The breeder then as to Breed to TRAITS & Comformation..and get what he needs..bit like Bosuns' ..Form & Function take .It dont make a Jot ,I.M.O. what's in THERE,it's what comes out ...Goes to ground,gets up to its' Target and produces a Result ..which the Owner is satisfied with..
