  2. http://www.geneticspecialties.com/images/ss/10.jpg It is pretty easy to spot which of the dogs in that pic is an airadael cross. I read a bit about him on another board once and the guy that owns him (in the USA) swears he is a cracker. If memory serves he siad he was the business on toothed game foxes and coyotes. The guys email adress is on his site there if you had any quesions. I believe he was bred out of a working line airadale but I dont remember the other half (probably a Greyhound or lurcher).
  3. I am interested. I would mainly be hunting hares (black tailed jack rabbits) but would like a dog that ould run coyotes. I dont know if they exist, and if they do how common they are but I would love to have a dog that could run coyotes singlely on occasion. I found a website of a guy in Idaho www.geneticspecialties.com. Anyone know anything about his dogs?
  4. Thank you for the responses. I split my time between Colorado and Utah. I am very interested in the staghound but have had great difficulty finding any reliable information on them, let alone good breeders.
  5. I am completely new to hunting with sight hounds. I have hunted with terriers used to flush rabbits/hares to the gun and hunted birds over dogs but I have never used sight hounds. After being exposed to this type of hunting, I have become greatly interested in it. I am currently living in the western United States where rabbits, hares, foxes, and coyotes are VERY plentiful, and hunting them with dogs is legal.   6. Would you want to run into this thing with your dogs? http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,275524,00.html I dont know how I would feel about getting close enough to stick this monster with a knife or how I would feel about letting my dog go after it. It would be an experience for sure though.
