  1. Lowa Hunter GTX EVO Extreme - Size 8 - worn once - £230 delivered ono

    View Advert

These boots have genuinely only been worn once outside, I went on a 10km walk yesterday.

There's nothing wrong with them at all, they will come in original box with all the tags (tags not on), but they are the wrong size for me, (too small even with thin socks on)

Bought for £280, would really like about £220 for them which would include delivery

    Thanks for looking

  2. 10 months now.

The bitch pup I kept on the right, the dam on the left.

She's smaller than her mum, about 21", ideal for me and really happy with her. I see a couple of other litter mates and they're variable, the biggest is same size as the dam at 24"

Bit of very early ferreting last week, I was asked to clear a warren that was encroaching on someones garden. All went to plan and didn't have to dig.

IAlso I might add I'd have paid the 150 or whatever you asked for yours no problem if they was what I was looking for I think that's probably a fair price considering I've seen absaloute shite for a lot more but I belive in what we used to call dogmen prices where there going to a decent home to be grafted not to some tit who's going to sell on working dog working men prices to working homes atb with them the kid

Cheers, I agree with what your saying. I’m not really fussed what I get for them if they go to good homes.

    I’ll see what people offer.

Thanjs for the comments. Very new to the breeding side of things

Hopefully taking the bitch out ferreting tomorrow!

There your pups pal you decide a lot on here will say gift them.I've had the offer of gifted pups and have always insisted on giving a token gesture of £50 but most dogs I've bought have been £100 as most of the time off lads i knew except when I've had them off Hancock then I think I paid £150 and £175.I got gifted a old type lakie many years ago and only dog I've never gave a penny for as I drove from perthshire in Scotland to Wales for her and the lad wanted me to have her as he knew she'd be looked after and grafted and also I said he could have a litter off her in future.I had patterdales but she turned out a real dog he travelled up when she was 5 with his stud dog lined her paid for the rearing came back 8 weeks later and took the pups bar 1 which was sold to a local keeper and I didn't take a pup or penny.I'd rather take £100 off someone I know who will take care of them them than £2000 grand off someone who will be selling it in 6 months time due to having not enough time to do it justice or split with his bird etc.

    Appreciate that.

With changes in law requiring microchips and vaccs I'll probably want to cover my costs, but if people on here can vouch for someone who wants one, i'm happy for the, to go for £50 - at the end of the day I want good homes, ideally working ones. The bitch is a great rabbiter, lamping and ferreting, and heard good things about the dog, so hopefully they'll make good dogs!

  5. Whippet X Beddy Whippet Deerhound Greyhound

My lurcher bitch (Beddlington Whippet Deerhound Greyhound X Collie Grehound Bull) had a litter of 9 pups on 9/10/18.

    She's done most stuff.

Sire is a pure whippet (Shadow of the North) who I was recommended off lads on here. He's done everything I think.

    I have 4 dogs left.

They've had 2 courses of wormer, will be microchipped and will have had at least their first vaccine (DHPPi + Lepto)

    North Yorkshire

    pm for details

    Open to offers,  £150?

Can't really tell from pics, but is she 1st x beddy/grey? Tidy size if she is

She's a bit of all sorts

    Sire - Beddy x Whippet X Deerhound x Greyhound

    Dam - Collie x Bull x Greyhound

    Great rabbiter, lamp and ferreting.

Not much killer instinct but doesn't bother me for what I do

Why not go for a straight whippet mate? Plenty around that size. Think you'd be hard pushed to find a whippet x greyound dog that size

You're probably right to be fair.

The bitch is 24, ideally want to breed something a touch smaller, only really do rabbits

    Thanks

    Any suggestions?

  8. She should be absolutely fine. If she's sprinting around and isn't ever lame on it then there's no reason to be worried, the break should be completely healed now. If you can get 6 weeks of increasing amount of trotting on roads with a bike or you jogging then she'll be fit and the break as strong as it's going to be.

If you wanted a belt and braces approach then ask your vet to take an xray, hopefully for one xray they wont have to sedate her so shouldn't cost too much. Get a price before though so there's no surprises! If she's insured it might be covered.

Most vets will leave the plate in unless there's a problem. For instance if the screws are too long and are touching the ulna which can cause pain when they rotate their wrist etc. It'll cost quite a lot to take out and the dog will need to be on the lead only again for 6 weeks whilst the holes heal. It would mean you'd probably miss the season.

Mine broke her ulna and radius at 6 months and has been fine. A mates dog got run over and broke her radius and ulna at about a year and is running well now.

    Good luck
