Cheers, I agree with what your saying. I’m not really fussed what I get for them if they go to good homes. I’ll see what people offer. Thanjs for the comments. Very new to the breeding side of things Hopefully taking the bitch out ferreting tomorrow!

She's done most stuff. Sire is a pure whippet (Shadow of the North) who I was recommended off lads on here. He's done everything I think. I have 4 dogs left. They've had 2 courses of wormer, will be microchipped and will have had at least their first vaccine (DHPPi + Lepto) North Yorkshire pm for details Open to offers, £150? Appreciate that. With changes in law requiring microchips and vaccs I'll probably want to cover my costs, but if people on here can vouch for someone who wants one, i'm happy for the, to go for £50 - at the end of the day I want good homes, ideally working ones. The bitch is a great rabbiter, lamping and ferreting, and heard good things about the dog, so hopefully they'll make good dogs!

What do people think is a fair price,? Stud fee was £150, think I paid £180 for the bitch. They'll be chipped, vaccinated and wormed. I've given a couple away to friends because I know they'll be looked after. I did also have to put a new kennel in, but guess that's an investment.

You're probably right to be fair. The bitch is 24, ideally want to breed something a touch smaller, only really do rabbits Thanks Any suggestions?

    Working After A Broken Radius

She should be absolutely fine. If she's sprinting around and isn't ever lame on it then there's no reason to be worried, the break should be completely healed now. If you can get 6 weeks of increasing amount of trotting on roads with a bike or you jogging then she'll be fit and the break as strong as it's going to be. If you wanted a belt and braces approach then ask your vet to take an xray, hopefully for one xray they wont have to sedate her so shouldn't cost too much. Get a price before though so there's no surprises! If she's insured it might be covered. Most vets will leave the plate in unless there's a problem. For instance if the screws are too long and are touching the ulna which can cause pain when they rotate their wrist etc. It'll cost quite a lot to take out and the dog will need to be on the lead only again for 6 weeks whilst the holes heal. It would mean you'd probably miss the season. Mine broke her ulna and radius at 6 months and has been fine. A mates dog got run over and broke her radius and ulna at about a year and is running well now. Good luck
  20. Got to say goodbye to these two ferrets. They're brothers, will 2 years old this summer. They are both entire. Very playful and fun, well handled - genuinely never even nip I've got two jills now and can't breed this time as I'm moving house. Eat anything! They're are both great workers. Thanks for looking and don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Best Wishes, Matt N. Yorkshire or Shropshire
