Taylor wasn’t even nominated, whereas Fury was ?

The thing is, and it always has been, a cringy popularity contest, rather than reward for monumental sporting achievement, although the girl that won the US open deserved to at least be in with a shout. And so should have Taylor.

Tom Daly came 2nd.., and his achievement (fair enough) was a gold in a pairs event…, but where the fcuk was his partner’s nomination? His vote comes from the fact he’s gay, recently married and a new ‘father’. Whole thing now is about diversity rather than recognising significant sporting  achievement. BBC all over. I heard the dancing thing had a deaf girl and a couple of homosexuals in the final. Tick, tick.

    Whole thing is a farce

  2. Josh Taylor should have won SPOTY imo. Not sure if he was even on the list.

Only British boxer to unify his division and he doesn't even get any recognition.

As for Ed sheeran I like his music and he is a very talented musician and song writer

Somethings been on my mind in regards to a few cat incidents. My ex had a cat here, we split within 2 weeks of getting duke as he hated the thing from day 1 plus I hate cats ? A few family members have cats so when I take duke over I don't let him near their cats and Correct him if he does have a run. Yesterday a dirty ugly hairless cat type jumped in the garden and he danced around it barking, I thought he would of done abit more which I couldn't care less if he did as the cat shits in my garden on my property. Hes had a few runs, few early rabbits and couple ferreting trips now. Have I took away any gameness in him by correcting him. It looked like he was jacking from a cat ffs or is it like hes half stock broken to them?

Found cats harder than foxes they can dish out some punishment

I have fella when they came out about almost 10 year ago now?

About 6-7 year ago I had a Megane Sport and a lad I know let me have a go in the RS and we took both down the bypass, tbh the car wasn't pulling as much from the Megane has I thought.

Felt nowhere near as quick as the M2 I drove last year, now that was rapid.

Edit- It was the 2nd gen as well which was much faster than the 1st gen, the lad who's a plumber now owns a Nissan GTR, they are different gravy.

Them GTRs are a different league. Unreal cars.

    Dream car for me

The dog is now 3 year old and lamps every week with obvious problems, and catches it's fair share.

Hope yours makes a full recovery

Took him to day pts , he was 14 , he was coming to the end of his life, he did have cancerous growth by his bum, but he was just worn out, and getting weaker, so i done the right thing  for him i think. he was brill rabbit dog day/night, he taught Buck to jump, mark  and find rabbits, birds in cover , Buck will miss very much, they were good mates. i did struggle at times with Bryn temp  , being typical  collie minded  lol,      R I P  you old bugger .

    RIP Bryn.

He was a cracking example of collie greyhound.

And yeh round that way, I know it like the back of my hand I live down the road. I plagued it for years with a few other lads years back before it got hammered by motors….it was alive with tackle not just CWD had some great nights.

We used walk all around down that way, was lifting with a variety of tackle.

Last time we was there was 2 year back now I think.

Life can be pretty busy especially when you’ve got dogs , and given them enough work , how do lads manage there time when got other hobbies and different types of hunting . I go out mostly day time on weekends and early season straight after work and when clocks change I try to get a day off in the week to get out and do small bit of lamping , how do you balance work , kids , lamping , digging , hounds , ferreting , fishing? Can you really do it all?

It can be a struggle, I like to get out twice a week on lamp if I'm not working nights.

Lamp all night then straight to work, nice when I have a day off but its not always the case so have to make do.

Fishing with lad comes when I'm off work we get out even if it's just for an afternoon session.

Would like to do more daytime but just haven't got the time.

Somtimes I think why do I do it but then a good run and catch remind me why. Do like a good run more than the catch

5 nearly 6 I guess! He’s plenty game and plenty can vouch for him, Jerrys thrown some belters tbh. Waiting for some cold weather we’ll be back out, think this is the first year in a long long time Iv not been flat out from stubbles.

He has thrown some game dogs. My pal has one and the dog is nuts.

I heard u lost the dam down Woburn way, we used to lamp around that way was good for the young pups.

Shame about the dam going missing but at least you have some of her off spring.

The dog you have now looks a belter.

I imagine it will be a lot harder to just switch off the lamp and disappear in to the night if they are kitted up with thermal gear.

Still, see how keen they are to pursue someone ankle deep in the slop. ?

We was ambushed by a keeper and his friend one night no lamps from them they crept up on us using a thermal they got with 20 yards before we spotted them.

They chased through the bushes across a field until one of my mates fell over, we couldnt leave him so went back for him.

They got abit shirty but settled down once they knew we was as keen as them.

Games fooked with thermal and drones.

    Just keep on keeping on
