Hi all,
Has anyone bred some kits from working stock close (ish) to Monmouthshire/Herefordshire?
Thanks in advance
-
Spaniel crosses are often talked about, but seldom seen.

I noticed a litter of cocker x whippets in Liverpool on the internet yesterday. Both parents are workers and pups raised on raw food. Sounds interesting. Don't know if the breeder is on here or not.
What site are these on please Neal?

I'd have a springer cross tomorrow if I could find the right one.

Have u cleaned the terminals my box done that a scraped the muck of terminals and it’s going like a swedger again
One of the terminals seems to have detached itself... you can see in the first pic.
Hopefully it can be repaired, or else it's for the bin sadly.

Can anyone recommend a cctv system for home/kennels?
Preferably wireless and idiot proof to install, 4/6 cameras.
Thanks in advance

Make your bed,you lie in it...they had plenty of time to f**k off somewhere safe
we should be looking after our own on these shores.instead of sticking our f***ing beak in other countries shit imo Keith... government has blatantly been lying through their teeth since the planneddemic...this fake War is the next step in their plan to dull us down ,so we fall into line
Fake war? Any evidence to back that up? The evidence to the contrary seems fairly conclusive.

Make sure you buy a proper branded one from Tracer....I bought a cheapo one from eBay, plugged it in,started charging, and within a few minutes, the charger was on fire
thankfully I was stood next to it and knocked it off before my battery went too
I've a cheap one on order from Amazon... perhaps a mistake!

Have you tried it on another tracer battery ?
Yes, tried it on two batteries sadly.
-
Hi,
My tracer lithium charger appears knackered! It flashes when plugged in and won't charge the batteries.
Before I buy a new one I thought I would ask on here in case there's an easy fix.
Cheers.

Seen quite a few gundog lurcher litters recently. Different gundogs and crosses
Whereabouts, I would be interested to see them.
-
Like Shortstraw I can't understand why gundogs aren't used more often in the production of a lurcher.
If anyone has a fast type of lurcher, a grew or a whippet and is looking for a spaniel stud dog, let me know and I'll be able to help.

Still available for anyone after a nice kit.

Agree with that 100%

A few hob kits available to good homes. All polecat coloured bar one white hob. No charge, but a quid or two for my girls that handle them would be welcome. If they have enough money for an ice cream they think they're millionaires!!!
Please, no time wasters. Genuine folk that will give a good home and not sell on for a quick earner.
Monmouthshire/Herefordshire border.

At present I have a total of 30 odd dogs ,amongst this number are some great dogs brought on to be used to get the job done one out .Some are pure bred ,but most are crosses of some type or other ,working lines of 25 years plus .Target is only hares and rabbits,no foxes in Nz.It is my view that good dogs are found in any breed regardless of breed however the breed must be fit for purpose .I've known some as pups that they had or have the x factor and once broken it they went on to be hard workers .We only breed the best with the best, most times this results in a dog that's ok(fit for purpose) ,even good but every now and again we get a real champ ,easy to start as pups ,hit top gear quickly so I give them one out work that brings the very best out and has them doing the whole job of working heavy cover ,flushing ,catching and retrieving. We have a small group of "rabbitters " who share the blood lines and keep most of the pups in house only offering the odd pup outside our group. We try to cross breed to get a dog that's as good if not even better than both parents. Since ESS have been mentioned in this post ,I have, several pure ESS, ESS x JR, fox terrier x whippet ,RJ/terrier mix ,pure whippet,JR, to name just a few ,and I think a good dog is just that regardless of breed.
It would be great to hear more about your dogs in NZ.
Are there good populations of rabbits and hares with you?

HI shaaarrk.........your right she’s 50% spaniel, and less than 50% sight hound....think she’s about 21 inch. But yes I’d like at 50% spaniel in my next if I’m lucky enough to find one when the
Have you considered breeding your own?

I keep spaniels and lurchers and can't understand why spaniel nlood isn't used more often. I know for a hard hunting leggy springer dog that would be the perfect stud to line a whippet/grew/grey.

Thanks for the offer, Adam. I'm hoping to find a couple of jill kits, but will give you a shout if I have no luck.
