    Few bits I picked up today titan Xs main spring breech seal piston washer New anti bear trap (original was missing wouldn't of replaced if was keeping but best be safe if doing to sell) New safety catch again original was missing Phillips gun blue

    To be fair the stock not too bad but going to strip then rub down and stain in walnut then couple of coats of tru oil but will start that over next couple of days

    The piston and compression tube are in great condition gave them a good rub down and polish soaked in de greaser and a polish up replaced piston washer and breech seal, There was about a inch of what I thought was lead from few fallen pellets but turned out to be years of packed down grease at the breech. Got the action ground back to a stage where I could start to rub down by hand

    Picked up another project last week a early 77k was rough as a bears arse did a 120 mile round trip for it and was little disheartened when saw quite how rough it was but after getting her home and stripping it down internals look virtually untouched pumped full of thick grease but in in all round good condition, I got this to restore for another member and got started last week few pics before I started

    I may have a old version hw77k for sale shortly Another member has 1st refusal as sort of building it for him but car troubles may of eaten up his funds It's getting fully stripped and reblued New spring New piston washer New breech seal Fully polished internals Polished trigger Re finished stock Plus more it's in bits at moment and aiming to have it done in next week or so Will be looking around 250-270 depending on any other bits it will need but will be spot on has venom silencer/muzzle weight fitted too Just a option for you if the one you view is a no go.     +1 I'd get a decent 2nd hand Springer old hw‘s and tx200s are awsum rifles very tunable and reliable plenty pop up for sale and 300 should get you a nice tuned example then 75-100 for some optics :-)

    Nice offer there never shot a sfs tuned rifle but big fan of tony wall he the master of springer tuning and from watching si pittaways vids on you tube a modest man with alot of talent

    Money never = happines many many prople have proved that fact and suicide definitely dosnt't make a person selfish you never know whats going on in people's heads / lifes its a true tragedy if thats your last resort so the size of your house or the money in your bank account wont make you happy if your depressed and unhappy and carnt cope im not one to judge a person for taking there own life not my way but everybody not wired up the same we lost a couple of close friends to suicide and extremely unexpected like I say who knows whats going on in people's heads!!!!! Mental health is extreme

    Wow bit strong as we not yet know how she diedMy thoughts were drugs at 1st but not unknown for a sudden haemorrhage or heart attack at such a young age Either way its a crying shame I have 2 very young kids of my own and couldn't imagine them having to grow up without me as a father let alone loosing there mother I stand corrected if comes out drugs or suicide to blame but either way my thaughts go out to her family a sad loss of a young woman

    Again true I just did a 2012 hw97k after not a great deal of internal work basically seals and good polish and clean re grease was a completly diffrent gun very accurate and very Little re coil only sold to buy a verminator / gladiator I wish I didn't bother buying its still with gunsmiths 3 weeks on leaking like a siv 200 pound bill so far and still not got it back !!!! Should of stuck with my hw!!!!

    2nd that heard alot of bad news on the newer versions think odd lemon is slipping through but like anything there will probably be good in with bad the older versions seem far better for build quality our tom had a old hw and was built like a tank shot absolutely fantastic too

    Im picking a old 77 in next day or two its rusty as hell and needs a stock refinish will be fully stripping it and polishing and re sealing if you want il keep you updated with pics and info to help with your project

    Either really bud ive bought some right dog rough springers and transformed them to better than new ones ive bought as long as piston and compression tube are not kaput its normally possibleto get them shooting great im still pretty new to tuning but loving learning more

    Plenty to be done really ideally to get it shooting consistant as poss even a simple strip / clean up polishing work on piston and compression chamber and new piston washer and breech seal is a good start can mess about with diffrent materials pre loads top hats etc a good trigger clean polish is another good one but dont go to mad as will make it dangerous even a little knock to loaded gun could make it go off with too much polishing but a nice smooth trigger will result in beter shooting i absolutely love tinkering with springers as much as shooting them even diffrent greases can mak
