    Nice shooting mac as always I'm in love with that scorpion mate gota get me one lol I had the scope zeroing issue yesterday with the airsporter turned out to be I'd left the seating down pin still down on the one pice mounts and there no seating holes on mine so wasnt mounted up right had the same issue with falcon took scope off put on again and was bang on mounts are tempremental buggers sometimes but the joys eh great fun in pitch black messing trying to rush fix a fault lol been there a million times Anyway again nice shooting and nice write up :)

    Had a shoot earlier nice to shoot not the most accurate rifle but might be settling down for a while 1stits got a cut spring in too that I was testing it with so wont help its striped again now to re blue lol

    The tin thing is the piston sleave mate I'd put it in as it stops twang considerably it absorbs the vibration between the spring and piston. It's a odd one that I had a g graunch on the 99s turned out to be the piston sleave had caught up but obviously it's not that. Could some crap of got into trigger mech out hunting? Could be the spring rubbing on piston as it compresses at cocking point ? Did you grease the cocking shoe? Only thing I can think is some crap on comp tube or cylinder

    Thinking of swapping my hatsan at44 10 shot .22 for a springer so open to offers It comes with x3 10 shot mags , fill probe , instruction manual , sling , quick displacement silencer , and will throw in a nice gun bag .     Yea i was saying that last night like a old school prosport when baby wakes from nap going to test it with scope on hope it shoots well hard to belive it was not shooting and sized solid 2 days ago god I love messing about with spring guns wish I could chrono it though

    Yea it's a lovley gun full of character and quite weighty so shoots nice too it's all built up so il add some pics 8 a min I'm not happy with the blueing so going to re blue I used perma thinking it's the best for older guns as worked well in past but will try Phillips next week. In 2 minds about the stock either keep original or re finish .......

    Sorry for delay been in shed since buying this right couldn't get the uprated pistin washer I was after so I opted for a synthetic buffer cleaned up the existing full piston washer and a new o ring . Well I was in shed at 6 am just come out now think it was worth it though .... they not in order but forgive me lol I've omed out the cylinder de bured and shined the piston buffed the piston washer fit new o ring obviously prepped and blued action not 100% happy blueing bit thin so may re do.     Got it stripped down the problem seemed to be the piston had jammed in the cylinder the piston washer was holding it fully cocked !! The washer is kaput and on the lookout for a replacement any suggestions? Is there a uprated washer available? The hardest part was getting the piston out was seized solid but seems complete so that's a bonus.

    Well thanks to another member who pmd me with a project rifle I got a nice old airsporter collected it tonight couple of hour round trip but well worth it its tatty but full of character it's not cocking or firing so on with the strip down now so more pics to follow. .... it's .22 cal not dated it yet so unsure on age but looking forward to this ...
