    Hi mate No john didn't choke the barrel just did a target crown there was very little change in accuracy tbh Yes I'd do a good diy strip and re lube as makes a big difference sounds daft but really does You may find your spring has been clipped and not properly seated so you may want to do that too As for twang mine really wasn't bad I did add a piston sleave but later removed as it was messing with the consistency Properly lube the spring as that will dampen any twang I was properly impressed with mine Little fiddly to strip with the little barrel blocks but a punch with a bend soon

    Yea you can't go wrong with a old hw rez was spot on a 35 would be just the ticket nice and easy to work on too I got one last year off moxy and when I finished I was amazed with it looked the part and was very accurate out to 40 yd Failing that a old 95 also nice to work on but any well made gun will excell after some tlc Either way keep us updated on your project bud

    We stayed in best Western hotel in shar wells was really nice place Yea it's beautiful that and north Wales my favourite places in summer will be hopefully visiting both again soon

    Stick our emergency 6x40 mil dot on for him, would be perfect for that gun. Would do but carnt find it anywhere had house upside down

    Yea amazing wish they never banned them Make sure you get the rifled barrel version though much more accurate obviously Even keep eyes peeled for a 2nd hand one

    Well had a few hours on my 97 tonight as putting through chrono and was doing almost 13 ft lbs so stripped it down and mainly did de greasing and polishing of internals Re lubed using the usual removing 2 piston weights and 1st 3 shots through chrono was 11.15 11.15 and 11.19 that will do me lol Was happy to see the internals in much better condition than other new hws I've bought spring was nicely seated just the usual nasty sticky grease Think il shoot here as is for now and maybe a tbt drop in kit next and leave it at that for while make sure I get on with it Busy day in the rifle

    Yep he's not wrong bet there was 15 litres of paint on it took 2 tubs of nitromorse and hours and hours to remove

    Just put it over chrono a stedy 9.5 will be fine for plinking like No he's middle age I think mate but just getting in to the sport

    Nope same gun lol yea it's bit unbelievable Not chronographd it yet next on list need a cheapo scope for lad now got a 4x20 here would be quite fitting with the gun but bit Crap Wish I still had the before pics argh

    Well as a few know I got a bright green powder coated webley vulcan from jjm Was a right mess in alot of different shades of green when I 1st saw it I thaught wow is this sortable but few days of hard work later........ Shoots nice now too thanks jjm for keeping me busy for bit lol The blueing is tad gray and it's still little rough around the edges but I think it's in fitting with the year of the gun looks a nice solid old pice now It's going to a friend of Ryans a 1st time shooter so will hopefully give him the bug for the sport and sure will serve him well to get him g

    As in title me and the wife and kids decidedat tea time yest to head for a night in lakes arrived at half 7 got in to hotel got some kip hoping to get some nice pics next day managed these before gale force winds and bad snow gutted 15 mph all way home with f all viability oh well Nothing special just thought I'd share
