11 month old now showing plenty of interest follows a scent well caught a few pheasants by accident he’s got the jagd high pitched voice when he’s behind something though but he’s quite sensible and I’m happy with him

I don’t really understand people’s views on the trials they don’t seem dissimilar to what the Europeans are doing with the Jagds artificial earths to a badger under rules you get a certificate now almost everyone says that is rubbish doesn’t count for anything but when it’s the trials it’s the best thing ever is it rose tinted spectacles looking at the past it is one genuinely better than the other again I’m not knocking the trials I’m sure they were a good day out and a test and I would be a them if they were on today but I genuinely can’t see much of a difference

Are we talking Lennox Lewis? Because if we are he’s not in the same league as Ali to stiff one demensional and no footwork Ali and fury would have no problem with Lennox Lewis

Would love a dog like that. 'Remember speaking with Glen years ago on the phone (when I first moved here, green and stupid lol) and had it I was gonna get jumping on the backs of pigs with these types
That boy there is a specimen
Is it not aloud out there mate?

Do you think the trials were harder than pig hunting? Or vice versa. I know nowt of either but find it interesting that dogs failed regular at trials but then the same breed makes awsome pig dogs, would love to know how a dog thought
I don’t know what would be harder for the dog as I haven’t been to the trials my point was it’s different also I’m pretty sure the EBT of today is of a better standard than most I’ve seen at the trials

back in the day at trials, for every good Bull Terrier or bull terrier mix , there was 20 good or better SBTs,, the majority of good dogs at trials was either Wheatens or SBTs, Bull terriers ware a rarity
I think that’s a different ball game to be honest mate nothing against the trials but six minutes at a badger and finding catching and holding a 100 kilo pig 3 times in a row is not the same

Just curious how do anyone know they are taking dogs for fighting? And I’m pretty sure your average dog of the street isn’t going to put up much of a show

I’d like to have been a plantation owner in the southern states between the revolutionary war and the civil war or southern England around the early 1700s

You get them from over sea's or a breeder over here or your self. It's okay if you've got your own stock or know of someone over here but that's the risk we take buying eggs from over seas. The wife wanted to buy a few parrot eggs. Says I've seen some 50 quid a says don't talk stupid there f***ing duck eggs . Nobody sell's parrot eggs ffs and if it was someone you knew they'd want 200 quid an egg lol
Got them from a breeder over here from Manchester he’s on Facebook seemed to be quite a well known game farm could have been the transport or could have been my fault with the incubator
-
I set 24 American eggs one hatched three developed but didn’t hatch the rest nothing not even a blood ring so in total out of 48 eggs I got 4 chicks
-
Yes I understand that it could well be our fault it’s a brand new incubator it’s a self turning one we followed the instructions with the temperature and humidity it’s in a room inside so the outside temperature didn’t change much not sure what else we could have done really
-
Well we had 26 eggs in the incubator 3 hatched on day 19 one had bad feet we are on day 25 and nothing else happened a bit gutted to be honest not sure if it was bad eggs or our fault with the incubator going to see if there is anything in the eggs tomorrow
-
Yeh you never know just got to hope for the best good luck with them what are they if you don’t mind me asking?
-
He’s near guildford in Surrey he’s brought some now they are in the incubator I got six eggs in there as well sent at the same time
-
Have I seen these before does he call them rockards or something?
-
I got a nephew he’s 30 married 2 kids so not a child but he wants to get in to game birds I’ve only got a few laying hens now but he’s asked me if it’s worth having some eggs sent over I’ve never done it so I don’t know just wondering if anyone had any experience of this and if it is worth it any advice would be appreciated thanks
