Bear, thanks mate, but last year I only went to one show, that was Morpeth, and I went to see Gin, Woodga, Molly and a few other friends and didn't show my dogs! The rest of the summer I was down in Australia, hunting foxes with Lurchers, Terriers and Hounds ! The poeple who have a pop at me on here haven't a clue what I do or where do it...they seem to be just jelous pricks ! Cheers. There you go again cant help yourself jealous pricks big deal hunting in aussie can you no stay there and give us piece you bitter old man lol It would be interesting to hear some hunting stories fr

oh here we go did i say anything about shows no i go to some shows myself im no trying to bring anyone down hes the one doing that mate, I don't go to shows much these days as my dogs are ugly and I'll admit it but I think CP just posts his opinion and if people take it as a put down then it's up to them. I didn't mean my first post to be taken as a argument though Maybe its his way i dont like arguing just hate people talking down to me making out you know nothing im not one for grooming my dogs as he puts it or stripping i call it brushing anyway bear you take care atb

I strip my rough dogs out for the simple reason it is last years dead hair ! Nothing to do with the temp. Get rid of the old hair, give them a good grooming and next years coat comes in looking better ! Cheers. i do the same give the dog a good brush but thats all dont cut it atb Not talking about "cut", I strip my rough dogs.....It's simple, just like stripping a terrier.. pluck the dead hair from the dogs ! Have you REALY had rough dogs, or any working dogs, for that matter, for any length of time ?? Cheers. had lurchers for a good few years and most have been rough coated b

Why would you do it if the dogs use to it do you think it enoys the dog. Dogs shouldnt be running about in the heat so why do it just a question always had rough dogs and never done it NEVER REALY WARM ENOUGH UP HERE LOL

I was thinking the same and i would have done the same as the boy done never took it so dont feel bad about it i shut the lid on the ferret hutch on my best worker and left it all nite next day was dead felt rotten but hey thats how it gos the joys chin up mate
