    Is that the dog that the Pakistani lad ended up with? Its a monster course he was only a young dog on that run, I bought it off the pakis a year or two after that

    rosco had a 7 min on there on the right hand side that's on a bit of a slope, he took it off into the horizon then came back still on it a few mins later and caught it by the road with a great strike, weird dog he was he wouldn't try and pick the hare up till he had it down to nothing, only then would he put a good strike in

    did u use to own roscoyea bought him off adil that dog had sum homes mate did u kill many with him u think that course wud of f****d him up have it on tape sum were wat a gruleler yea killed a few with, got him on tape doing a 5 min run when I had him but nearly every run with him was a gruller, took to long to make his kills, not the best of mouths

    I agree with that 100%, no dog is going to catch 9, 10, 11 good hares in 1 day, but it still take some doing even if at least half the hares are crap

    if my dog does 2/3 3/3 im happy pal. I was until I heard all these stories lol, I'm finding it hard to believe 21 in a day thow and the dog was only 12 months old, perhaps it was just grabbing them as they flew out of the back of the combine harvester after being shredded

    There is a pic in a passion for coursing of j potter and a dog called scar that stopped 21 hares in 1 day in September, I wish I never started this topic now it's making me depressed about my own dogs I thought I was doing very well catching 2 or 3 in a day

    interesting point the hares sat off the roadsides must get a lot more stick than the ones sat a few fens out that don't get run as often

    don't know, I know of 1 dog that did 9 one day with plenty of witnesses but there must of been a fair few duffers in there I would of thought

    What's people's personal best with one dog in one day, and what month of the year was is ? The most I've had in one day is 5 with a bitch I bred, her father direct out of Charlie and mother direct out Joe, that was in Lincolnshire in November, her mother did 4 at Boston in January, never seen a dog with my own eyes do more than 5 in one day but know it has been done but I bet not that often
