  4. stear clear of any puppy farm, people who breed with pure intent of only making money are wrong. working abillity of the dogs should be paramount. this is why lurchers as a breed have gone down the shoot, money. dont get me wrong there are lots and lots of good working lurchers around but thers is more rubish than good. puppy farmers are to blame. i think its even worse when people get hold of good working lines and rinse them by breeding hell out of them, and sell them in countrymans weekly for huge money, these are just as bad as the big name puppy farmers ,david hancock and alike, i dont li

  12. Whats not broke dont need fixing in my opinion.... i think the lads with the minshaw dogs are doin a good job of maintaining the strain crossing working lurchers with working lurchers ending in a good result so it seems. so the need for introducing husky or alike is way beyond me. just my opinion
  13. Whin i mean max sorry mate but to me it looks as if youve got the wrong end of the stick. you seem to be repeating your self constantly mentioning the fact there is greyhound in the make up of the dogs in qestion. Of course there is. fact is your probley the only fella here tunnel visioned into thinking greyhounds are the be all and end all. What was said was greyhound doesnt need to be put into a well established line of lurcher. correct. You think diferent from what i can gather. after all it is a forum i just think the greyhound senario needs putting to bed. its boring. minshaw is the to
  14. Genuine question mate are you into dogs or they money? dogs and money dont mix. im sure you will dissagree but we each have our own oppinions.
  15. Now Lee how many lurchers or snack litters have you bred? or should I say how much money have you made Is that for me Joe? If so. i my self have bred 3 litters of lurchers, never sold a pup. Not that i have anything agains people selling a pup or 2 that are spare. but there is never a pup spare when i have breed
  16. I dont dislike the greyhound by anymeans. Just for me ther is no need to cross one to a good line of lurcher. i belive a well worked lurcher will stand more of a chance on producing good working offspring. in my opinion its chancey breeding from a greyhoumd to a lurcher. as most men who have breed lurchers will agree with me im sure , breeding worker x worker there will be pups that wont make thegrade. so if breeding worker x worker produces 3 good pups from 6/7 pups. i belive the chances of a grey producing grater numbers of pups makeing the grade alot slimer. just my opinion.
