  1. That's mint! I'm gonna have a crack at a spinner when I get back to college ran out of household tat to shoot lol
  2. It's well worth it when you hit them isn't it I'm working on being able to hit them consistently. By far the most challenging and rewarding target I've tried. I read a thread on homemade reactive targets one of them was blank firing rounds pressed into polystyrene don't reckon the old peoples home opposite me would be best pleased lol. Regards Brendan
  3. Thanks Davy, I've learnt a great deal from watching you and Si can't wait to bag the first rabbit! Regards Brendan
  4. I've been getting plenty of practice in at the range plinking at various targets at various ranges out to 30m to get me shooting accurately and consistently enough to move onto live quarry. Si's principles of marksmanship videos made a big difference to my consistency. In my cellar I have an old coal bunker type thing (not sure of the correct name way before my time) that runs about 10m or so under the garden which has become my new indoor range. So after a while my mind starts to wonder and I start pondering what sort of targets I could make from the random stuff lying around the house. I cam
  5. Yeah it's not far from town there's a bus stop at the top of the lane too. any ideas which bus number?? Yeah that might help Its the 541/542 can catch them at the bus station straight into Siddal. As you enter Siddal keep an eye out for the lifestyle express shop on the left hand side, there's a bus stop there and the lane leading down to the club is bang opposite
  6. Yeah I heard a couple of lads talking about a place in sowerby bridge too would be good to see what its like

  8. http://www.halifaxairgunclub.co.uk/ Its a cracking place to shoot! I was given permission for a farm in sowerby bridge but the fella is now in a dispute with someone over land so its a no go unfortunately. I was buzzing when I found the club it saved me driving over to bradford to use my mums back garden as mines like a shoebox
  9. Thanks bugg, yeah very addictive I've gone through a lot of targets of various varieties but found apples on the open sights to be the most pleasing, they just burst into chunks which then burst into smaller and smaller pieces haha 1 apple can take a hell of a lot of pellets
  10. Thanks Deano, I'm finding it very addictive wish I had have taken it up years ago
  11. Hey all I recently purchased a Hatsan 60s and spent ages plinking coppers and 5p coins stood on bits of blu tack in the garden finding the open sights rather accurate and pleasing. The garden only being 16 yards long it wasn't long before I craved more space and a better variety of target to hone my skills on before turning to live quarry. Then I came across halifax airgun club, a mill converted into a range for sub 12ft/lb rifles. It consists of 10 metre target ranges downstairs and a 30m plinking range upstairs with various auto reset and spinning targets at marked distances. I started at fi
  12. Hi all I've never hunted before but have read a lot about it and spoke to people who have and it fascinates me. I have a 5 month old stafford and was wondering if there's any specific locations in bradford that have a decent population of rabbits where i could take her for a mooch and see if she is interested?
