    I like to practise clay shooting in my 2.5 acre field but there are pheasant pens at the end of it, although with a good amount of cover in front of them. I do stop for a few weeks when the birds are first put in the pens but once they settle in they don't seem to take much notice of shotgun or rifle shots, opinions please.

    Is anyone using an Envis, Archer or similar NV monocular attached to their scope? I want to do this but the relief distance, i.e.between my 24mm NVM object lens and the 37mm scope eyepiece lens needs to be about 3 inches to fill the NVM screen. It's spot on directly against my binocular eyepiece lens which is 17mm , do I need a bigger object lens than the 24mm fitted to my NVM?
