  2. does anyone no where i can get a skeet vest in ireland i cant find one anywhere ,loads in uk but all need credit cards and i dont have one
  3. I use the same for pigeons as i do for shooting clay's Eley blue 7's And as for giving the second barrel to a wounded bird of any kind a swift blow to the head by a priest does fine.
  4. Gave them out the green tripe there a few minutes ago and they cleaned the bowls lads Didn't send it through the washers atall just grabbed a belly after the lads in the green room had emptied it and just cut a few scalps of it and hosed it with cold water. Diced a few hearts and some liver and they were delighted Cheers boys for the advice....
  5. Ha Ha that's fair mint....good thinking out of you i love it
  6. Good stuff man Do you leave the bark on the sticks just sand them a bit and varnish them?
  7. First off there very cool pieces What hoof did you use on one of the knives and how did you treat it?
  8. Well bud how are you going? Been a butcher i'm a big fan of knives What type of steel do you use for the blades? There some good looking pieces you have fair play.
  9. I'm a butcher in a slaughter house and just wanted to no if what i'm bringing home to my dogs is ok to be feeding them or is to much of it bad for them?? WASHED AND POLISHED BEEF TRIPE LIVER KIDNEY HEARTS ETC. Are these ok to be mixed in with the usual nuts and caned stuff all the time or just now and again???
  10. Ya now that you mention it there not around as much atall, and there is still water and cover there The grass there is like a fallen over kind of rush so would be an ideal place A trap is the only job there i suppose??
  11. Where do mink lie up???? Do they burrow or nest or what There is a big drain down the back and a pond that holds duck every winter and has water hens in it threw out the year. There are paths leading into and around the pond and they are red from traffic Was checking it out yesterday and saw a mink hanging around I'm going to lay a cage now and see if i can trap me one But i want to no where to look for where they lie??
