    Doesnt everything sound American today.D ya kinda know where im coming from dude? I use electrolites after work. I give Feramo and cod liver oil every other day. My dogs are fed on traditional stews with meat and veg with a sprinkle of good meal like Aussie formula. I think stews help to keep moisture in the dog and they love it. I also give some calci D. to pups plus goats milk and eggs to them aswell as to the workers in winter. I feed terriers exactly the same.     the deerhound x grey x collie x grey were the dogs I had for years and they were very good cross then I got murlin and eve bred dog that was by far the best dog I ever had would run fens work with ferrets and lamp total all rounder they were lurch x lurch

    stopper pad is there to protect the stopper bone so if its gone then you need to run with it taped up if stopper bone gets damaged it can be the end for the dog as its one of the worst injuries dog can get

    we all have our own opinion by the look of it what about spaniels labs what percent make field trial champs and greyhounds that make top open class dogs it will be about 10 percent

    the good ones are good and always stand out from the rest I have seen people that couldn't train a budgie to whistle with a good dog its down to naturel ability that they are born with the best dog I ever had was reared with its mother running the streets eating out of dustbins I got her at 10 months old it had the naturel ability no amount of training can put it there we are talking about lurchers which are mongrels when it comes down to it not pure bred greyhounds

    its a groin injury can take up to 8 weeks keep him on lead road walk him if you lay him down look at the inside of back leg may be discolor in skin

    john the slat mill has no moter on they are free running dog works it when they get used to them they can run flat out on them lot better than electric

    greyhounds are underated as most people get them as adults when they have finnished racing grtting one from a pup and bringing it on like a lurcher they learn all the feild craft and make good dogs

    i use hydrogen peroxcide put it in old syring squirt it around dogs whicks nail beds it bubbles all the dirt out its better than tooth brush

    for them that dont know before locaters we used what we call line ferrets that had harness on never had a problem
