  1. The one thing about good beef is the way it's raised a lot of the cuts we get these days the beasts these days are fed so much crap these days there not far off the same as these mass produced chickens a good beef cow should take at least 3/4 years depending on the breed I did have the experience of tasting so much good meat when I lived in Australia the cattle station I lived on had a small herd of wagyu and we eat grass reared steaks every Tuesday bye god they were good the best steaks I've ever eating

  2. I'd pick a campervan mate and just parking up and exploring areas if you end up in Dumfries and Galloway cheack out the coast mate plenty of places along the coast too camp the night just ruffing it and plenty of hills too walk and lots of coastal walks mate

  3. It would also depend if you plan on keep doing it every year cos after a couple of years you'll be likely too move the lot but it would depend on how many he wants too rear and if he has buyers set up I mean raising 500/1000 is not much work and not too much of an outlay all it will be is a big shed and a big pen maybe 3 grand for supplies 2 weeks work for a couple of lads but how many is he thinking

  4. It's handy for iPhones if you have unlimited data you can turn your iphone into a wifi hotspot and not get charged for it and the same if your in a diffrent country and don't want too get charged the data roaming charges it tells the company you are still in Britain and you could be using your data in Amsterdam and not get charged the only problem with using a vpn full time is it takes everything longer too load pages and if you don't want any one too know were you are

  5. It's a shame cos it's actually not a bad topic I actually like the Sunday's in the pub with the older hunters and poachers and I really do wish I could record some of them and write a book on some the stuff every thing from shooting your brother with a 410 cos he dint buy your smokes too blowing up dykes with petrol bombs too get rats too throwing a hammer in the combine so they could skip work and go too the pub and even tales of gamekeepers shooting there own pheasants too make extra money but since every one is taking the piss out of the topic I don't think I'll share any

There is something else bugging me about this story sheep were cheacked on sun afternoon and were not cheacked till 24 hours later I know a few sheep farmers and I don't think there will be a single one of them not out 3 times a day and 3 times a night doing the cheacks with being this close too lambing and that will be mon too Sunday even more when they start it all sounds a bit iffy

don't agree the sheep in the fields around my house get checked about once a week and they are about to lamb
then there not very good farmers mate quite simple most sheep will be getting extra feed this time of year with due lambs and that would be everyday and if memory serves it's actually part of the law that your stock must be cheacked once every 24 hours and I know how many times most farmers are doing it cos my girlfriend is lambing 400 right now

  10. It looks kinda wierd from the photo cos you can't really tell I've never seen sheep die like that my self all in order next a gate generally in a field if the dog was knocking over sheep left right and centre they certainly would not be piled up in a corner they would be every where with wool scatterd round the whole field I did hear years ago of a lad losing a lot of sheep too he's own dog when the farmer would go too sleep the dog would round them all up for 5 hours a night they just started too lose condition a couple died but not a whole lot like that and it was over 2 months till they clicked on from a personal opinion I'd say water contamination perhaps poison for so many too die so quickly
