Crows are fine too feed them mate any thing with meat/fur/feather raised 2 lots of kits of crows out of Larsen traps before and like some have said could of just been in the mood for playful fighting with ya what was the hair on there tails like I once had a Jill ferret that clamped on too my hand turned out too be a fox was trying it's luck trying too get in they can go right angry little sods when rats and foxes are about there hair looks like it's sticking up all over the place like it's standing on end there will be cubs starting too knock about this time of year as we'll some will be more braver and stupider then an older lot have a look about the garden for some rat holes or runs or any fox hair on the top of your fences but it's all skeptical with out being there and seeing if there just being playfull or not

there not bad wee lamps them buffalo river ones small enuff too fit in the poachers pocket great wee lamps for taking the dogs for walks at night as we'll I just can't stand lamping with them all night they don't bring up the eyes At all like the light force 170
At the min in using a buffalo river good for 350 yards had them both cable and rechargeable kept the cable one I've two small 12v 6.9 lithium batteries tape together on top il see if I've a photo to put up , it's spot on for all nighters
Is that the £45 one? I looked at that, not bad price if works, has anyone on here tried one?Anyone tried the clulight plr 150 yet , them lamps moggy on about are in the countryman weekly have been for a couple of month
I was looking at £150 budget for a good lamp, the night master ones look good but I'm not sure about them being right for the dogs, I want to get away from the wires and separate batteries.

in that line of work it will be but I know a lot of lads that would just be happy with folk showing up on a Monday too do some workI don't see why so many have a problem with them we have about 200 in are town they all work in the fishy or on farms local they don't come in trying too change anything sure when they first got here there was a few good scraps between locals and poles thinking they were hard man type they soon got dealt with but the rest are nice and friendly always smile and wave the fact folk think that they steal jobs is a load of pish every one hits a bad run of luck every now and then but if your not willing too put the time in looking for one you won't get one you just got too be willing too work some are just lazy b*****ds and in a small town like this every one knows every one and too my knowledge there is only one pole on the dole here out of the 200 and that's cos he married a local and even the poles don't like him and I've got more native friends that are on the dole every other week then the poles hell even a couple of local lads are going out with some of them I've always found them a good lot too be honest I've had more hassle from rich English folk that move up here then poles hell I had one English woman try too tell me not too put my net out in the bay the other week cos she dint like me spoiling her view she got told not so politely too f**k off there was even I story I heard a while ago where an English couple were asking how they could get the pipe band too stop playing the music so loud
they do steal jobs from British workers,as well as bring down the price of labour i.e your wages.
it's nothing personal, but them being here is detrimental to the vast majority of us.
Not the VAST MAJORITY at all. Unfortunately they are a detriment to low skilled workers or labourers , or semi skilled manual workers like those in the building trade.
I assume you are in this field ?
Obviously they will take jobs off British workers , problem is alot complain they can't get British workers who'll do a proper days graft, or who won't rip them off or do a shite job.
Many people who employ or get work done by poles think they are a great benefit not a detriment. Depends what side you are on.
There are also many skilled and highly trained immigrants in employment here. The large amount of doctors, opticians and nurses are Asian or similar. They seem to have a cultural idea to raise their kids with the idea that they need to work hard, education is pushed as highly important, they come from countries with very poor benefits systems so you pretty much either sink or swim.
We do have people who genuinely need help but there's so many lazy, worthless tossers having a free ride, or simply topping up their pay that it causes resentment between those in work and those out of work.
You can easily find British workers who'll work hard and do a good job, just not for £7 an hour.
That's where our Eastern European friends come in,if I was a souless CEO of a huge corporation,I'd be praising mass immigration and probably fund the labour party.
Even if they weren't willing to work cheaper (which they are) than us,they stll flood the market with labour lessening it's value.
AI mate that's how competition works, and big business owners get rich. Happened for generations. Chinese labour built the great US Railroads, Black slave labour worked the plantations, Vietnamese Labour brought in when they want too much money, now a lot of their farms worked by Mexican labour bussed in from across the border.
Problem is, if you choose to go into a profession where someone else can do the job for cheaper, or will work harder, they'll often get the work first.
Nothing soulless about it from a CEO's perspective. If you had a company you'd employ the hardest workers who will work for the cheapest rate. If the jobs these immigrants did were shite they wouldn't be asked back so they must be doing tidy work for cheaper money.
See it all the time in my job. Get British drivers that won't start at that time, or won't drive to that place or won't do that run as the product needs hand balled off. Had one tell me last week how funny he thought it was that he turned around and brought back a trailer full of product because he 'didn't like the look of the diversion'. No phone call to the depot or f**k all.
Clients are falling over themselves to employ me. Is it any wonder that when I turn up on time (at any time), speaking good English with some customer service and don't smash trucks or get infringements?
There was an excellent article on Vice a few months ago. It basically boiled down to 'no body gives a f**k about you, unless you can offer them something'. If you want a job/contract/paid employment in this day and age something has to set you apart from the competition. You have to be able to do it better, faster, cheaper or to a higher standard than the next guy. The only thing that matters is results.

Well Citroen is out of the running based
my mate had one and it was getting fixed a lot constant problem the list he gave me that he had too fix on it in 3 years was daftI wouldn't touch a connect.
I know its not on your list but at that sort of age a Vauxhall Combo is always a good bet.

-
its more the 03/04 types as far as my money will stretchHad 2 Caddys...just got rid of a Berlingo...complete gutless piece of shit that didnt want to know if there was one speck of frost on the windscreen...bought another Caddy...spot on!

Edit to add...know loads of lads that had connects...eveyone had throttle senser problems...dunno what the new ones are like?
-
even at the 03/04 ageConnect no brainer. Cheaper run insure fuel parts
-
how much better are the Citroen on fuelvw caddy for reliability, 1.9 is the better engines, citroen is good on fuel but watch out for real axel wear, ford well take a chance
-
Right lads need some advice the car is about too pack in any day soon and is not worth fixing so I have 3 choices a ford connect Citroen berlingo and a vw caddy can any one tell me the pros and cons of both I don't really need a bigger van then these 3 but I need some thing good on fuel and reliable so lads give me some advise I've only got about £1500 as well so the best type for that amount of money that age gets ya

There is no comparing them too a proper lamp but for what they are light weight easy too use k for walking the muts across a few fields not saying you couldn't catch with them I just find them so hard too use with out the prop holding handle I do like the style of the buffalo river Cree one though handy little lamp built in lithium battery as we'll good for a quick walk with the muts
