me & Gyp walk miles every day, on & off road. i keep a pony on a field in the next village, so we walk there & back, on the road mainly, or if we can go on the cross-field footpaths, we'll walk the road on the way there, and the paths on the way back. we've also got a nice quiet lane around the back of the village, so we walk round there, keeping on the lane to the end for a 3 mile walk, cutting back on the first footpath for a 2 mile walk, or the second for a 2 1/2 mile walk. i love being out with the dog, i'm getting a tattoo on my wrist that says "I'd rather be walking the dog"

Does anyone know how many you would have to "do" to get a tray full ??? probably depends on how attractive the fish thinks he is oh god, what is this site trying to do to me tonight?! i'm already in pain from laughing at a chavs corsa ad, now i'm sat here turning purple with tears streaming down my face cos of this! :rofl:

oh dear god, the pain! THE PAIN! my ribs hurt from the sudden involuntary explosion of laughter when i got to the question at the bottom! i had to wipe the tea & little bits of biscuits off my monitor before i could reply!!! what a twat!!! i'm with you Ditch, i found the bit about "i need the space 4 the family car" quite disturbing! Nope, she wasn't a poley. She had quite a bit of white on her. Most likely some albino in her background somewhere, but I never knew her parents as I got her off someone that had taken some eccess kits of a breeder - from working stock. Oh, and those rosettes.... Did wonder whether I should dare put that picture on here And yes, they were some that we'd won at a ferret show right, just to clarify what colour that ferret is... she's a polecat mitt. "mitt" simply means she has white feet, like mittens, and they often have a white bib too.

http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index...mp;#entry406104 i was working at his daughter's house at the time he died. never got to meet him unfortunately, but myself & a friend attended the Service of Rememberance, with our lurchers. 20-odd running dogs in the church, and not a sqeak out of any of them. as we were going in some incredibly posh bloke said to us "are those lurchers? ugly things... my labrador is so much better looking"...

thanks for the replies guys! i did think about that, but they've put out books of all the songs, so asking them looks a bit stingy.i'd buy the book, but i'm completely broke! i've started singing at a buskers night in a local pub (one of my new years resolutions - do some gigs!), a good friend & fellow lurcher owner talked me into it, i'd have never had the bollocks to do it without him. now i want to learn a song for him, to say thanks, and "Longdog" by Show of Hands is probably the best! only problem is, there's a few lines of the lyrics i can't figure out from the recording i have (piss-poor sound quality). so.... does anyone have the lyrics? chords would be handy too, but i can probably figure them out. i've got less than a week to learn it, so any help w

look at gymnasts - those girls are fit as fiddles, but don't go through puberty until they stop training. the same thing can happen to dogs.

the thing on the left of the picture is a rather flash roller iron, push a pedal & it pulls stuff through it. great for sheets, shit for clothes!

nowt wrong with Steeleye Span, i went to see them at Cambridge Corn Exchange for my 23rd birthday. and saw Tull at Cropredy a few years ago too
