  8. hi, i dont aim, i just let go when it feels right, the best thing you can do is practice, start shooting targets at close range and move further and further away, thats what i did, if i do target shooting now i aim at stuff like bottle tops from 50+ feet , then then its easier to hit a rabbit at 25feet lol, john
  9. i am always trying to improve and make my catapults more powerful, i think i have found the perfect taper, my new bands can shoot a 12mm lead ball over 300 feet per second, i killed a rabbit outright the other day with a body shot, i have never seen or heard of any bands putting out this much power before! please click on the link below and let me know what u think,, john

  13. i had a go at the 140ft suspended card cut today, and although the card was flapping and turning in the wind and i couldnt even see the card or the cord i still managed to hit it a few times, here are the reults
  14. after seeing bill hayes cut a suspended card from 50 feet with a catapult and say that it was the hardest trick shot to do i set out this morning with one thing in mind, and that was to cut a suspended card with a catapult from 60 feet, here are the results, john
  15. Hi, i'v been shooting a catty since i was about 14 and i'm 24 now so around 10 years, i used 2 take pigeon and squirrels regular but now i'm into pheasants and rabbits, i'm out shooting at least 4 times a week, thanks john

  18. heres a chrony test i did on my gamekeeper catapults, shooting a lead ball weighing 10gram at over 250 feet per second,
  19. i made it out of a 14mm thick sheet of alloy, then spent about 6 hours sanding and polishing until i got it to a mirror finish, its much stronger than any cast alloy catapults and a total one of a kind, thanks john

  21. hi, its more than likely the pouch is to heavy or the ammo your shooting is to light for the bands. try shooting somthing heavyier like a round rock about 20mm diameter and see if it happens then, what thicknes is your pouch? what elastic are you using? and what ammo? when the catty arives off me you will see its a slimline lightweight pouch, i think the problem is the pouch, john
