  1. After some advice in your opinion would jump ups 3 times a week and hunting weekends be ok for a Harris hawk? I’m very keen to get one but could only do jump ups during the week. I don’t want to get one and realise I don’t have the time. However I would be able to exercise the bird as I suggested above. Would be greatful for opinions of more experienced falconer’s
  2. Mc Hull you need to get out mate. You seem to spend your life on here messing threads up. Did you not get enough cuddles as a child mate.
  3. Collie bull greyhound out of the right stuff. Collie greyhound back to a quarter bred bull x something like that. Something like that will be able to take anything from a rabbit right up to the big stuff. Good speed decent stamina be able to turn and should have a good brain. That would be my choice mate
  4. My bushing pack the springer is like a beagle once she’s on and also goes to ground the other 2 are learning the trade
  5. Thanks very much for your advice I will take it on board
  6. Morning all I’m after some advice. I’m considering getting a HH have done plenty of research in terms of housing, weight management, diet etc. my only concern is winter time when I will be getting home in darkness. How do other people get around this? How often should a HH be flown per week? Many thanks
  7. I've come back to this site recently after a few years and one thing I noticed is Morton still talks as much sh1t today as he did back then happy hunting eveyone
  8. Kibble complete waste of money imo. Meat bone and fat. Feed organ in small amounts fish once or twice a week with raw egg. Fat important as this is basically how dogs get there energy
  9. nice pics how did you train your ferret to lay next to fox like that

    Cocker spaniel

Worker to worker mate ideally out of dogs already doing what your looking for. Alot of people look for certain names in pedigree but I don't get caught up in all that. At the end of day the dog makes pedigree not other way if ya get what I mean good luck

    Cocker spaniel

Tbh I found if they work they work whether alone or in a pack. Maybe when starting them off it would be better to have a walk with a couple of experienced dogs to show them the crack. Tip I wouldn't start them in summer when nettle and thorn is high can really put them off bushing enjoy there great little dogs

    Cocker spaniel

I have a little springer she hunts anything and everything and bays like a full hound on warm scent. I use her mainly for bushing fox and the same was for my old spaniel but she was mute. Its all to do with how you bring them on hope this helps
